  It's a very specific setup - you have to destroy a certain number of items on the first level, then kill or despawn the CPU helper and finally after you kill the boss you need to shoot at the top box. The box must explode after the boss has died or it wouldn't work. The timing is crucial.

  I will respond in English because my Russian is a bit rusty. The reason you stay on the left side is that there is a safe zone. If you stay on the right side, the turret aims directly at you, so you have to be further to the right, and then you are in the line of fire of the engines.   Подскажите, тормоза во время игры это только на эмуляторах? Не припоминаю чтобы на денди были хоть какие-то подвисания.

  На Денди тоже самое.Даже на оригинальной nes есть эти лаги.Это одна из причин по которой игру ругали.

  Я в детстве просто обожал эту игру. 😅 больно видеть, что я по два часа тратил на игру, которая проходится одним персонажем за 14 минут

  Много раз с братом проходили эту игру на денди и тоже летали на паузе) Но самая лучшая часть Контры была первая, что шла на стоигровках, то есть Супер контра. Вторая часть контры (он же мод чёрный плащ) была не столь интересная. А контра форс вообще к первым частям отношения не имеет и построена на совсем другом замедленном движке. Но мы их все прошли и батл тоадс полностью! Эх, золотые были времена!

  This was actually the very last NES game I ever rented back in 1992 before I got an SNES for Christmas that year. I actually liked this one over the other two Contra games because it actually had a story and variety between characters. You weren’t just mindlessly killing aliens.

  Now I know why I was never a fan of Contra series and only loved Contra Force in particular. This was a different game that was named Contra Force because Toonami couldn't sell it with its original name. I loved this game so much

  Everything on the screen creates lag even the clouds in level 4. If you kill yourself the screen doesn't scroll while you have invincibility frames. The idea is to move as close as possible to the edge of the screen so you are able to kill every enemy as soon as they appear to save lag.
