I was under the impression that they were going to link 1954, 1957, 1958, 1959 and 1960 together. My birth year car, 1956, is on the shuttle.

That's the reason why the R62AS has those green stickers because of Westchester yard Pelham line.
The R62s definitely needs blue stickers because the R62S is no longer on the 4 Jerome Ave anymore. The R62 needs to change those orange 🍊 stickers.
So three R142A/S sets ran on the 5 line R142S 7761 - 7765 + 7806 - 7810 R142A 7636 - 7640 + 7686 - 7690 R142A/S 7776 - 7780 + 7666 - 7670. My two R142A/S sets 7686 - 7690 & 7806 - 7810.
I was in the subway on Saturday but I wasn't by the 4 and 5 lines to catch an R142A on the 5 line on video.
Maybe when the r46s are almost done retiring maybe the N,Q and W lines will receive the r211s

@@znxchngames I'm glad they have those 8 signs on the R62AS R62S in green circle 🟢 8 .I have a real spriital feeling they are gonna slip the power blue 🔵 8 rolling signs like they had the JFK airport rolling signs on the Pelham 6 line R62AS before they retired them I'm telling you.. Just like they had the purple 🟣 11 rolling signs just like the same exact color purple like the 7 Flushing line.

Do the R62A singles sometimes run in service on the 6 line?
Yes the R62AS runs with a single cars on the Pelham 6 line all the time every sense all the R142As were taking off the Pelham 6 line and the rest of the R142As from the Pelham 6 line were sent to the 4 line. Start enjoying the R62AS back on the Pelham 6 one more time because pretty soon the R262/As will be replaced all the R62AS R62S on the 1 3 6 S lines and using the R62AS R62S for work trains and pump trains just like the R33ML Redbirds.
I have a real spriital feeling that the 6 Pelham line is gonna be the first line to get CBTCS I'm telling you. I have noticed that every now and then the 6 Pelham line has been doing signal maintenance and more track maintenance.
Another thing I want to tell you. Westchester yard is gonna be getting draining pipes on each tracks 49 or 50 tracks from keep it from getting flooded.
The R62AS R62S is not gonna last for ever . Just like the R32S R12S R14s R17S R21S R22s R15S R33ML R33WFS R46S R10s R16s R40 R42s all of that's gone. The only thing we have left is the R68S R68AS and R62AS R62S.
I also remember seeing the R62AS on the 3 Broadway line with eight single cars in passenger service. It's not over on the Pelham 6 line because the R142as is definitely trying to makes its way back on the Pelham 6 line. The R142As from the 4 Jerome Ave line wants to go back on the Pelham 6 line.
Oh my fucking god, Catherine jow velina, i expect her to replace every single station on the IRT excluding the 7.
