Thank you for this review because I need another pocket rosary for work. I own a pocket rugged rosary (the metal one) for my walks, but I need one to with stand medical hand sanitizer. I try to wash my hands as much as I can, but I do reach for the sanitizer because it’s quick in an emergency. My concern is which rosary would work best. I might lean towards rugged because it’s affordable and the harsh chemicals may damage the beads. Though the wood maker is beautiful. What are your thoughts? FYI I work at a hospital so it will be in my pocket.

magnification is the way 99% of the time imo. I live in a big ole "urban environment" and lately I'm paying attention to distance of line of sight to buildings and down roads and it seems like 300+ yard distances are everywhere. The scope and long boi are sweet. I'm running an ACOG on a 14.5 DDM4 SLW and it works well for me but I'll admit the vibes were a big factor in that optics purchase.

Hope I can get into suppressors sooner rather than later. No issues with my Streamlight Protac HLX in 2 years. I just got a Magpul RVG and not a fan waiting on my second BCM Mod 3 VFG to replace it, will probably end up with the Magpul Bipod though everything else decent is so expensive compared to it. Also plan to get a PA SLx 1-10 with the ACSS, I already have a MD-25 with the ACSS and love it. Also like rocking 20 rounder mags the 30's are just too long when you are prone and think I'm going to just run 10 rounders on my Aero M5 because the 20 round SR25 mags are just as long as the 30 round 5.56 mags. I would be down with a 4-14x with a MD-25 on top, but that's going to be quite a bit more expensive then just limiting myself to an LVPO 500 yards will probably be the average I'll use it for, but I want to be able to touch 1k every now and then and I feel an 8x will struggle with that alot more than a 1-10x.

The AUG doesn't lend itself well to can-use based on the gas system. Comparing the subjective noise level is only viable on the same type of rifle, gas system and barrel length. Stuff you buy comes with manuals. I'll look into more book reviews if you add some.

Dead Air’s Key-Mo mounting system is incredibly robust, and since it uses a taper to interface with the can vs a 90° shoulder the POI shift you get from any can when going from unsuppressed to suppressed is very consistent and predictable. The taper (which is also a feature in all of Q’s cans) also all but eliminates the potential for carbon locking your suppressor onto its mount. There’s a reason that Dead Air’s mounting system has become the industry standard in QD suppressor mounts, and if Aaron Cowan of Sage Dynamics gives it his stamp of approval, that counts for something considering the firing schedule and level of abuse he puts all of his gear through. Whether you go with Surefire, Dead Air, Q, or HUXWORX, as long as you install your muzzle devices to the manufactures specification you should not experience any issues with your can walking off, baffle/end cap strikes, etc. As far as how “quiet” a given can is is dependent on a whole host of factors to include barrel length of the host, which particular ammo you are using through that can, the overall volume of that suppressor, the material it’s made out of and it’s structural design, and a number of other variables that are too numerous to list in a KZread comment section. But there’s a lot more to consider than sheer db reduction when rating a can’s performance, and Dead Air cans rank among the top in the industry and have for some time.

Aren't modbuttons and Unity the same tech? I'm pretty sure Modlite gets their Modlite modbuttons from Unity. Edit: Surefire switches also don't completely keep the power output for high candela lights like from PLH-V2, OKW, E2XTL and Rein 3.0 heads (now with legacy bodies). You lose something between 10-20% of your power output with Surefire switches.

Definitely better than 10.3 CQB set ups because i can easily run the 16" with the offset dot in CQB, but then i can also reach out and touch someone easily. People love the shitty shorty trend.
