I bought a case of Tomato Magic was blown away. By far the best tomatoes I ever have used. So good you don't need to add anything at all. No olive oil, garlic or spices, I'm not kidding. Their website says not to cook it down and I didn't, absolutely amazing!

I lived close to one of his pizza joints in Walnut Creek. Very good pizza, I truly miss it and wish I could get his wise guy pizza again. If you have the chance to go to the slice hous e get a slice of his wise guy pizza.

Best pizza ive ever had.People get bent when you say its better than the pizza in Naples. Taste is opinion, but for me, this dude makes the best pie ive ever had and was better than anything i had over there.
have a wood fired ooni made over 100 pizzas in 3 years with it only 3 pizzas get f,,, up one was my moms fault.
I worked in a nursing home for the severely mentally ill in Evanston. 417 residents that have a tough existence. They only got $30 for the entire month of spending money. JB Alberto’s was their favorite place and brought so much joy to these people’s lives, and their staff always treated them with a commendable amount of respect and courtesy. Their pizza is top notch and so are their employees.
Of course that was a Foxon Park Grape Soda! You know it was Foxon Park because great pizza was being made there and it was grape because it was purple colored. If you go to a pizza restaurant and Foxon Park isn't served there No Matter Who Said It Was Great I would leave because I'm almost 68 years old and I've never had a good pizza where Foxon Park wasn't served, I'm passing this lesson on to you...

How do you know that all the sand is gone? I've tried soaking, cornmeal, and baking soda, and have not had success.
Repeat the process 3 or 4 times. Try it and you may experience success...

I agree 100%! Chris is a legend and truly is the best of the best. I've had the privilege to interview Chris a number of years ago. One of the things he told me was that pizza is something you can never master. He has always raised the bar of making pizza and the pizza world is grateful for all he has accomplished!
7:00 In a sense Modern is actually older than Sally's. Not just because of Tony's Apizza became Moderm. I noticed decades old pictures in the documentary of Modern with a 1930 establishment date. Not just the 1934 they claim today, which is still older than Sally's.

I never cook my pizza sauce. I used the sauce right out of the can. I use fresh garlic.
