Good job and great video...Thanks for sharing! I am repairing two skylights on our 34ft Starcraft Black Pearl edition that were broken from hail damage. The Maxxfan lid was an easy screw-on installation, but these skylights are more time-consuming. Appreciate you taking the time to make this video and we are in Kentucky, too!
Where do I can buy a plastic scraper?
Any home improvement store or Walmart will have plastic scrapers
Just came across the Ranch hand YT video that you posted 3 years ago. How has the powder coat held up ? Getting ready to purchase the FBD195BLRC for my 2022 Ram dually. Thanks
I haven’t had the truck for a year but before I traded it in, there was no issues
So the lines still had some original transmission fluid in them, did you end up having any issues mixing the Lucas Hydraulic & Transmission fluid with it?
Yes the only way to get it all out would be to disconnect all the hydraulic lines at every jack and do a flush.
Mine has a canopy over the top of the slide. How do I address that to replace the seal?
great video. you make removing the caulk look so easy. thanks for explaining it! i wonder if instead of using caulk as a border, you could use non self-leveling caulk so it would not run? thanks again!
I was setting here watching your video and I go that decal looks familiar. Click on the Rv in my pic and you will see why. Enjoyed it Vana.
If you bead the edges then swirl the tip as you fill in the center you won't need the barrier, you'll waste less lap seal, and you won't need that enormous bead in the center. Nobody is hating on you, they're just giving you advice to be more efficient in the future.
Cheap, yes, but a lot more added weight. I like the idea though!
Just a couple of questions! Do the plastic pieces that go under the microwave plate melt? It’s there a certain temp you don’t go above? And how do you use the combination setting?
Thanks for this video!
Thanks, I will try the barrier idea!
Those are pretty easy; HOWEVER, I'm stumped on changing the led light over the stovetop.......those at least had the little clips. I don't see that on the stove top one.
Damn I love that little flame thrower.
What is the caulk barrier???? I would like to use it
Needs to be white oak
A real review. Thank you
Perfect, concise instructions. Thank you!
Just came across your great video. Once the black tank is properly flushed, do you recommend adding several gallons of fresh water via holding down the flush on the toilet to keep some water in the tank at all times?
Great video!
Thanks for taking the time and making this video! Sorry there are so many negative people in this world especially on the internet. If you don't like this method... don't use it and move on or better yet, make your own video for people to criticize.
That looks a lot softer than sikaflex no?
Silly question the time is still the same as what a regular oven calls for? Pizza 16-18 mins in regular oven. Same in convection?
Thank you so much for posting this. My rv oven glass is loose and don’t wanna take a chance until we get that fixed
Can youhelp me replace the inside d seals please
How do i replace the inside d seals
How do I get volume
Hyper extended. Hahaha. Can’t hide the nurse in ya
What about turning off the power??! Should have been the first thing to do??? Thanks for making the video easy to understand
If you have the lights turned to the off position there is no power running to the lights when you change them
Great video.
Thank you for posting this straight forward maintenance video. I need to do this to mine and felt it was just a simple job not worth paying someone a stupid fee to do it. As my camper is just a van it is small and will take no tie to do this.
whatt does it cost?
great video btw
I never use Dicor because it cracks after a few years, I see people slapping on coat after coat of Dicor and getting a huge build up of caulking, better to use Mulco or something similar.
Thank you, you were a big help!
Thanks Morgan and Jon!!! Your video came up when we searched for how tos on redoing our seals!! See you guys at Trailer Village next time we’re around!
Eterna bond adhesive tape might have been an easier solution
It's Nov. 2023. Any updates?
When Vanna White turns a letter, she's having a vowel movement...
A very interesting video, and thank you!! A question if I may - what was the type of WD40 were you using? Silicon or PTFE based?
Silicone
Do they pans have to be made out of a certain metal? Can I use any metal pan?
I have unsubscribed. :(
I would not remove old lap sealant. I would just clean old and add new on top of old where needed. But what ever works.
this is helpful, thanks for sharing
Why did you use Lysol cleaner?
Good job !
Just a tip for future reference, when you space out the pieces in the middle, you create weeks spots thereby threatening the integrity of the build. Keep them together.
Shouldn’t the new oil jug be higher than the tank for it to siphon properly.
Great tips - especially using round pans!
Did you do all the edges or just the front? 0:32
As a local, I'm aware of the state of things a couple years ago. What a difference time and new owners can make! Staff is super SUPER friendly and helpful, no problem with the sites, lots of upgrades, fantastic Wifi, facilities are nice and clean, property is very well maintained. They don't have a 10 year rule but I hate those as a semi-vintage owner finishing off a custom job. I'm not going to be an RV snob but there is nothing egregious parked on premises. Neighbors have felt like... well like neighbors did back in the late 70's. It's not Fort Wilderness, but it's a great little town park with its own charm. I've been seriously enjoying my stay!
Looks like you don't value your time.
