I don’t think it’s good to eat off epoxy.

Hi! Very beautiful. Nice work. Can you please tell me how thick is the piece after machining? Tha
Hello! Thank you! This was just a hair under 1” thick!
I love that wood!

Best epoxy “food friendly “ for a walnut cutting board? Thnaks
Superclear!
There is none. They are all food safe as in a charcuterie board as in food contact but none are good for cutting board as in food grade. You're not meant to eat epoxy so you dont cut on it. The title needs to be changed. Ive never seen anyone that works extensively with epoxy recommend this. This was actually discussed by the creator in the first post so they are aware. There is epoxy all over that board and would be hard to miss cutting on
@@therebellion6911 It still would have been a stoked board if he would have only used the edges behind the cutting board, or used the color in the juice groove as I have seen many professional cutting board experts. It's still beautiful, but is should not be cut on.
Where did you get your logo Piece
I tried using your website and it doesn’t work 😞 I would really like to talk with you about doing a military veteran piece. Your work is AMAZING
Sorry website is down at the moment! [email protected] is my website or follow on my social medias to send a msg!
Jared, you use a forstner bit to create a space for your emblem. How do you determine how deep to drill?
Set a stop on the drill press!
Could you tell me where you got your square for the corners?
Amazon! I can send you a link!

Wow! What great inspiration this is. Can you please advise what you use to fill in the smaller holes after the epoxy pour has been done. I am in the midst of making my 1st board and have areas to fill! Paul- UK
Thank you! I use starbond ca blue to fill the small voids! Awesome have fun and enjoy the process!
"promosm"
it s beautifull, but when you cut something on, you don t fck the epoxy or wood ??
I tell customers to not cut on epoxy, just the wood section!
@@jaredcoreyconcepts definitely defeats the purpose of having a cutting board if you're reduced to cutting on a small section of the board
@@Alex-oz6sf wrong. This is a huge cutting board still plenty of space to use.
Looks awesome! Thank you for sharing. I’m trying to find a solution for my new board little holes. Is it food safe to use ca glue?
Yes as long as you sand and clean and use food safe oil/wax for finish!
How did you avoid any snipe on the epoxy when running it through your planer? That would be my biggest concern.
This board is only 18 inches long, snipe is basically non existent
I’m getting snipe on my entry which is making the board length irrelevant. Any tips here?? Thanks!
@@scottbennett8504 do you have infeed and out feed tables?
No. What are those?
Trays that attach to the infeed and outfeed of the planer; it reduces snipe and keeps everything running flat as possible.
Hello Where did you order logo coins from that’s a great idea

When you're making the cut for your emblem, how do you judge the depth?
@@waterlilly62lori set a stop on the drill press
Is that a forstner bit you use for your medallion?
Yes it is!
This might be a dumb question, but when your putting the piece through the planer, how do you know when you're done?
Whenever the leftover epoxy and wood are totally flat
How much do you sell a piece like this for?
This was priced at $350. Walnut burl and amount of epoxy in this added up fast.
I bet! It's beautiful
Did you sell it?@@jaredcoreyconcepts
Why toward the end, did you use the tablesaw and mitre saw?
Just personal preference, I like the mitre for making cuts but this cutting board was so large for the longer end I had to run it through the table saw.
LOVE this video. You show start to finish and I love that. Also not to wordy or goofy. I'm just starting out, so I appreciate any tips and tricks. Love the way you brand your product too. How do you get those?. More "how to's" PLEASE!
