  I had a 70min ranked game (Low Elo) but never gave up despite the odds being stacked against me and I was solo... still managed to pull a win due to being Aphelios.

  I am low elo currently but been playing Aphelios mainly, this build has been helping me climb whereas before I was struggling. So if Aleksis is making it work in High Elo, and someone whose bad and in low elo is making it work. The build works.

  Yes, Melees are very important. Although, the deciding factor was that i was not really stomping that matchup and they had every chance to get the Baron, so in order to avoid them ending the game with it i got Runaan second to be able to deal with a potential hardpush only relying on me defending and not my team
