Definite winner😊😊
Hubby likes the clear plastic for nuts and bolts in his shop
@@joanshelby8786 YES! Same for Mr. 812 as well.
Too time consuming
Putting them in the freezer for an hour or two 🎉also works on some containers, especially prescription bottles. They just peel right off.
Peanut butter works too.
Thanks for sharing this tip, I re-use glass jars a lot.
I totally understand when you find something that works great. Thank you for sharing these items with us Ma'am.
Goo gone removes the sticky residue .
Almost 15 minutes to tell people two words ?
I have recently tried hummus and was surprised I like it! I have never tried tofu but I am going to try now! I’m totally on board with going for meatless options! I’m not a good cook but you make this seem absolutely doable. Looking forward to more recipes 😊
Yay! I'm so glad you are inspired to try this one.
A new subscriber here. I love tofu and actually had a tofu scramble wrap for lunch today. I haven’t tried a “chicken nugget” with it yet, but it looks yummy and will give it a whirl. I also haven’t tried to freeze it prior to cooking. I will try that too. In my opinion, you are absolutely correct, tofu is a wonderful way to cut food costs versus meat. I’d say it’s at least half the price per pound, maybe more. And also agree, it’s a healthy food. I haven’t tried Anthony’s nutritional yeast, but I’m currently using the Sari brand. I do like the Anthony’s TVP though, it’s really good for taco meat instead of expensive ground beef. Thank you for sharing this recipe. Linda
@@craftoncue Welcome to Farm 812! Always great to hear from others that have great things to say about tofu. A bonus I have found with the Anthony’s brand is the use in recipes as a cheese substitute. It does have more of a cheesy texture and taste. Thanks for watching. 🤗
I only reuse glass and recycle plastic, tubs like cottage cheese go to soup kitchen. I use oil and sprinkle baking soda, I'll try the paste, thank you.
I save these and reuse all the time. I think your method is safe and nontoxic. I don't put my plastic containers in my dishwasher to clean them out, even with the heat turned off because it shrink wrinkles the plastic.
Ugh, we had a dishwasher disaster, so it's all old school hand washing for me these days. Some days I sure miss it though. Thanks for watching!
I use mineral oil and keep my good olive oil for cooking and eating,,,..
I love those square plastic container for food storage, like pastas. Nail polish remover will dull the plastic.
Your husband bought a gift for your kitchen, Not for you YOU HAVE MY SYMPATHY
Red kerosene has odor and burns longer than the oil.
I use red kerosene in all my lamps. Lamp oil is too expensive.
Try to only use plastic labelled #2. That’s food-grade, so a little bit less leeching of hormone disrupting chemicals. Glass and stainless are ideal and sadly expensive. Start with plastic and upgrade as you can. Speaking of which: Eat what you can, and can what you eat. 😊
Another danger are roving groups of zombies. I dug a 12’ trench around my pantry. 👍
Hurricane hit Michigan with a vengeance. I can’t believe that rain we got slammed with. I mean Michigan? Really? That was a vicious, long, lasting storm.
@@cswan153 Yes it was. My county was hit by 7 confirmed tornadoes from Beryl remnants. Scary stuff!
Seriously…? 🫢
Love ❤❤
used olive oil & wd40 & goof off to assorted paint removers & other caustics... your method is more simple yet efficient
Paper towel dispenser? How romantic.
Never thought to use the water from the inside out! I also use the hair dryer a lot. And 91 or 99% alcohol will remove the adhesive. Thank you!
Use a hair dryer. You need to warm the glue up being careful not to heat jar so much that it melts the plastic. Using the hair dryer melts the glue to the point that there will be no residue left on your jar.
Dammit! --we are NOT GUYS...so Rude.....
I hate most paper towel dispensers because the tip over or just keep on rolling. Usually use one hand, but two hands would wet the rest of the roll. This is genius.
wish there was a walmart close to me ! however we do have a dollar tree so that helps when they DO have things we tend to use ~
Hi, thanks for this video! I have hand-me-down oil lamps, too. The most surprising ones are miniatures that I thought were just meant to be decorative but were actually made as 30 minute night lights for children. Please stay safe!😁
just subbed to your channel 😁
Welcome!
My favorite is number 3 the door lock.. thanks
I wasn’t able to plant anything this year, yet. Would love to learn more about plant zones and drainage. I always get root rot, I’ve tried peat moss and still get it. I downloaded the plant app to help with dying plants and that was a waste of money. Geez. It didn’t work at all. Love your videos. I feel the same way about the upcoming future and want to be prepared. Love your videos!
I absolutely love this idea. Especially if you never had parents that taught you these things! This should be part of the school curriculum, imo. I would love to know so many things! Fuse box is a great idea. How to change a tire. Things you should be doing to get your house ready for winter/summer. Love this!
I leave a roll on the counter and grab it if I need paper towels who wants to do that one
Really in joyed your videos. I am checking into the items. 👋👶🤗🤗
Those r awesome containers! 🎉
Hi 👋 i love the paper towel dispenser. So convenient and a cool gift. 😊
I do reuse and recycle. Pantry items for sure. I also craft and use them in crafting. Blessings!
love our food saver also. I just get the rolls and make bags. also have a key pad opener on our front door. we did it a long time ago. One daughter kept losing her key.
Love all three of these, thank you!
**I use WD 40-- spray, sit~5min, then scrape off. **Clean off grease & goop with Dawn, rinse well!! Love your videos-- fabulous attitude, smile, & pace of both speech & hand motions! Peace to Everyone!
Me too
That sure beats rolls of paper towels on holder's on the counter. I really like it. Thank you for showing it.
I soak mine in hot soapy water then scrape mine with a knife, and apply dish liquid and use a scourer to clean up ,
I store my dry beans in Mylar bags and then kept in a 5 gallon bucket with a rubber sealed lid.. I packed 2lbs of beans in each mylar bag for easy use. Oatmeal and other dried goods get stored in glass pickle jars and vacuumed sealed. I get all my buckets and jars free from my son's job. He's a chef.
Great idea! But, since fabric sheets are full of chemicals and tons of clothes these days are made mostly of plastics (polyester, nylon, spandex, rayon, etc) - I wouldn't do this if you want to use the fire for cooking food. Thank you so much for sharing tho. Great tip for people trying to stay warm in winter months.
