Putting them in the freezer for an hour or two 🎉also works on some containers, especially prescription bottles. They just peel right off.

I have recently tried hummus and was surprised I like it! I have never tried tofu but I am going to try now! I’m totally on board with going for meatless options! I’m not a good cook but you make this seem absolutely doable. Looking forward to more recipes 😊

A new subscriber here. I love tofu and actually had a tofu scramble wrap for lunch today. I haven’t tried a “chicken nugget” with it yet, but it looks yummy and will give it a whirl. I also haven’t tried to freeze it prior to cooking. I will try that too. In my opinion, you are absolutely correct, tofu is a wonderful way to cut food costs versus meat. I’d say it’s at least half the price per pound, maybe more. And also agree, it’s a healthy food. I haven’t tried Anthony’s nutritional yeast, but I’m currently using the Sari brand. I do like the Anthony’s TVP though, it’s really good for taco meat instead of expensive ground beef. Thank you for sharing this recipe. Linda

@@craftoncue Welcome to Farm 812! Always great to hear from others that have great things to say about tofu. A bonus I have found with the Anthony’s brand is the use in recipes as a cheese substitute. It does have more of a cheesy texture and taste. Thanks for watching. 🤗

I save these and reuse all the time. I think your method is safe and nontoxic. I don't put my plastic containers in my dishwasher to clean them out, even with the heat turned off because it shrink wrinkles the plastic.

Try to only use plastic labelled #2. That’s food-grade, so a little bit less leeching of hormone disrupting chemicals. Glass and stainless are ideal and sadly expensive. Start with plastic and upgrade as you can. Speaking of which: Eat what you can, and can what you eat. 😊

Use a hair dryer. You need to warm the glue up being careful not to heat jar so much that it melts the plastic. Using the hair dryer melts the glue to the point that there will be no residue left on your jar.

I hate most paper towel dispensers because the tip over or just keep on rolling. Usually use one hand, but two hands would wet the rest of the roll. This is genius.

I wasn’t able to plant anything this year, yet. Would love to learn more about plant zones and drainage. I always get root rot, I’ve tried peat moss and still get it. I downloaded the plant app to help with dying plants and that was a waste of money. Geez. It didn’t work at all. Love your videos. I feel the same way about the upcoming future and want to be prepared. Love your videos!

Oatmeal and other dried goods get stored in glass pickle jars and vacuumed sealed. I get all my buckets and jars free from my son's job. He's a chef.

Great idea! But, since fabric sheets are full of chemicals and tons of clothes these days are made mostly of plastics (polyester, nylon, spandex, rayon, etc) - I wouldn't do this if you want to use the fire for cooking food. Thank you so much for sharing tho. Great tip for people trying to stay warm in winter months.
