Hi Andy. I had a sewer company take out roots from my 4" lateral. I know they will grow back. I was thinking that as a DIY I could get a reaper. I have not seen any comments around as to how much PSI and gpm it would need. Whew, those 8-12 gpms are way over my budget

@@PARKERBROTHERSPLUMBING I said no because I only used my common sense. I could be wrong. If the answer is going to be a yes, you would definitely need a manufacturer's detailed step by step guide on how to do that, i.e. you would need steel (or similar) to hold that approx. 5000psi pressure. There are other tips that do what you're asking, the Warthog is primarily for moving forward, not for primarily cleaning backward. I operate a 3000psi rig.

Wouldn't it be better for the rear at 30 degrees?
@TDDoooOOOooo Жыл бұрын
Reapers front rotary cutter is the main working nozzle. Rear ones are just for thrust(10-20°). For pipe wall cleaning you need head with at least 6 nozzles designed for cleaning ( 40-50° + 10-20°) or reversed rotary nozzle designed for cutting roots(rotates 15°from head axis and will also do nice general cleaning and push debris easily). Rear 30°nozzle will do good wall cleaning job but doesn't have the most pulling power nor the power to push debris back. Generally: 10-20° nozzle-pushing head, 20-30°->pulling debris back, 30-45°(+rotating, more nozzles)-> cleaning walls.
