  If I still played League, this build makes me wonder if Nautilus could be pretty unkillable as well with a Flickerblade. Build a Heartsteel/ Fimbulwinter in addition to RoA for extra shields and have your W up every few seconds and add a bit of extra damage for all of your abilities. Although that would just leave one item slot for armor/magic resist stats other than boots. Maybe Gargoyle?

  Lich bane on Veigar is so good. Anything to sling around that big AP number more. How about a max MS Anivia game? Lich bane + electrocute on her can make her little basic attack deal so much unexpected damage

  I always run this type of build but I go FULL SCALE, like first strike with gathering storm, with 3rd item on being magic pen only (Counting boots) kind of scale. Even if I go 0/6 I get so much AP and pen that I am always in the game.

  Day 2 of asking for dishy dash Lucian mid. Flickerblades, Essence Reaver, and Collector. If the match makes it to late game, sell boots and pick up Ghostblade and maybe another lethality item. Full crit and 3 lethality items will melt everyone. You don't need boots because your dash will be up after every auto attack
