thank you, this was so helpful. I have many thrifted wool sweaters that don't fit
It’s the best hack.
The good old days of DI!
The best of day!
It just looks so comfortable, and everything is as it should be! Make me think of taking a nap on the couch during Thanksgiving ❤
Yes! So cozy.
Thats so pretty tho!!
💛 thank you!
I love it! Yaaas!
Thanks!
I subscribed because I like your energy! The way you speak makes me feel like you’re a caring, thoughtful person. But you’re also excited to put yourself out there, which I find inspiring. I like knitting content mixed in with other stuff from people’s larger creative and non-knitting lives-love getting to know the person behind the screen as long as they’re comfortable with sharing :)
Ugh you get me!! So glad to have you join my little community here!
Do you have the pattern yet?:)
I don’t yet, it got put on the back burner because it didn’t seem like too many people were interested. But I’ll put it back on my task list.
Catnap
Exactly
These are all so cute! Great ideas for upcycling tops
Thank you, I’m definitely getting a lot more use out of them this way.
Emma. I can't tell you how much I enjoyed your knitting bag video! For me, the pace was perfect, as was the clear instructions, attention to detail and quality of workmanship. This was my first visit to your site. I have subscribed. Looking forward to making this pouch (I'm a quilter/knitter), so it will be very handy. Hope your base of subscribers grows and grows.
You’re so kind! I’m glad it was a good pace and good instruction wise, it’s a hard combo to achieve. So glad to have you join my little community!
Nice 💯
Thanks!
Someone tell me why I like silent thrift hauls more than talking ones! I need to know if I’m a psycho 😂
Adorable! I could never paint on my own nails, it would come out so wonky 😅
I started when I was 13 and it definitely was wonky at first, but after almost 10 years I’ve gotten pretty good.
Honestly never heard of the oura ring 😅
Everyone is saying Apple Watch anyways 🤷♀️
@@emmayochim yeah that’s fair
omg those are so cute! ❤
I’ve been wearing them all day!
Great job
So cute❤I love em
We love a thrifty AND crafty girlie! ❤
Ugh, you get me!
Apple Watch ⌚️ 👇
That’s what everyone says, sounds like the obvious choice.
❤
I’m realizing now that “Mr goose” is very much a duck 🦆
The pants are very, very cute! I love how they look. Longer pants would be very nice for colder months. Thanks for the info on how to finish the seams, it was greatly appreciated.
plz make a video of how you did the seams thanks <33
I just uploaded a new video with a little tutorial starting around 14 minutes in. kzread.info/dash/bejne/lYx2sNubf7PRoco.htmlsi=r4lM9gxFWXlfq8FZ
I want to sew a vest like that (the yellow one) so bad and I’ve been looking for tutorials and can’t find one! Please share if you take a crack at it!
Vest is coming so soon, currently wrapping it up! It will be 50% OFF May 17th-20th 2024.
Beautiful
It would help us beginners if we could actually see you working on the seams of the jacket and how you put it together.
Yeah, I’ve had a few people ask for that. I’ve got it on my list.

I would die for a pattern of your swan sweater it's so cute!!
I think I’ll have to make a pattern for sure, it’s too cute!
Did you not include the collar in the free pattern?
The color is just a 4 inch wide rectangle measuring the length of the neckline.
What size crochet hook and what size yarn?
I think probably 4.5 with worsted weight.
how did you get them all same size if you used different patterns and stitches?
I honestly don’t remember, it was a while ago. I think I would just try it and take it out and try again if it didn’t work.
If your square is too small as your template square just add enough dc's or ss's around the edges of that square until it is the same size?
Great job!
i can hear it all the way here ! 😂😮
well done so nice
Thank you!
🎀🎀🧦 its so sweet 😂
Very nice! A few questions: How do you wash it? Would you not want pockets?
You would wash on cold, tumble dry low. Or dry clean. You could definitely add pockets. I decided not to.
I love the flower style block you did for your mom. It's beautiful. As a quilter, I think I will starch my fabrics to preshrink them. Then washing will be really easy. The blue strip at the bottom of the sleeve and checkered bottom just finish it off so well. I wondered about pockets too. It would have taken away from your design. BUT maybe when I make one, I'll put pockets on the flannel side. They could still be used when worn quilted side out, right? 😊 Also, I would love a video up close of how you sewed on the bias binding so nice and flat. You are very talented and very professional.
@ibrockinrobin67 Thank you! I considered pockets, but I don’t always love the way they make jackets hang when you put say a phone in them. If that doesn’t bother you, you should definitely add some. I find that the binding is what confuses people most, so maybe I will make a little video explaining it.
I'm actually making my first quilted jacket too! The pattern I'm using didn't bias the seams on the outside of the jacket, but I decided to change it up and try binding the seams like yours. Initially, it felt like the seams were too bulky and couldn't get them to lay right. Do you have any tips for flattening the seams like yours? I ended up going with a faux bias binding by sewing right sides together, making a .25 in tube with a thin layer of fleece in between and sewing it on top of the seams to get a similar look with less bulk. It's taken me forever though and yours seemed like it came together really quickly!
It can get bulky, so many layers. I do a lot of trimming to eliminate some of the bulk. I also just did a single fold bias binding on the shoulders, armholes, and on the collar to cover seams. And then I did a double fold bias tape for the open edges.
i love your energy :) you seem so chill!
Thank you!!!
@@emmayochim awh ofc! btw i just subbed to you!!
❤
Hello! Just downloaded your free pattern. Thank you so much! ♡ Your vest turned out great. I can't wait to make one my own.
Great video! You look cute in the vests😍
Thank you! ❤️
I was gonna subscribe to you until i came across one of your videos where you degrading and dehumanising short men for being the way they are. You're TOXIC as hell little girl. 👎👎👎
Wow
i'm having a lot of trouble putting the pattern together, is there a way you can show the whole pattern before cutting or just a picture of how it should all line up together ? the repeating numbers are making it difficult
Page 5 of the instructions give you this information.
your vest turned out so great! what's next? I will be turning in,,,,,
I'll be making my graduation dress next week.
Thank you for this tutorial! I'm super excited about trying it out ☺️
I loved it! The fabric seems very comfortable. I don't know how to write it, but the first option for the pattern name sounds nice.
The fabric was a great choice, I'm glad I went with it. I like Adelaide Robe too.
