we can not override write header, the shown code gives, 'http: superfluous response.WriteHeader call from' when any error. We can correct the above code by moving the write header line inside every switch case.

in my opinion if you want to learn golang you should try to master basic libraries befor 3rd party libs because for most* tasks using basic libs is more than enough

Nice tutorial. I think you should add mutex to avoid concurrent read and write over the map. This is important since you will be accessing the map in API handler which are executed concurrently.
