I purchased several of these in the late 1980,s from an older watchmaker who did not want his son to inherit them and " use them for beer money" So nice to see theese again!

Show it only pinching the crown one time to prove that you need to pull it out twice. Because I honestly don’t believe that you do need to pull it out twice.

I have a similar looking though a bit nicer Dueber watch and inside the back cover, very finely inscribed it says: "Sold 6-9-90". I got it from my grandparents a long time ago!

Oh my I'm ashamed to ask you this but do you ever brass the pivot holes on 7 jewel hampden/champion model 3? It was my gg grand father's the case is a robust open face Silverode. I figure the case is.worth more than the movement. The dial is pristine

My grandfather taught me to always hold in on the latch when closing the hatch. That rhymes! That's a good thing to do because eventually you wont' have any metal left on the hatch to close it with. It will ream it down to where it wont' ever stay shut.
