Welcome to my channel! My name is Mason the Mason. I do a lot of masonry work. Lots of concrete, blockwork, stone, pavers, pool decks, and tons of other projects. My goal is to show you everything I've learned about the masonry trade. I have lots of how to videos on blockwork and concrete. I also like making time-lapse videos of the block and concrete projects. If you have any questions put them in my comments and I'll make videos answering them for you!

A mom. who finishes concrete...BIG TIME WIN
Omg.. i turned the bag inside out.. cause i thought the black should be on the outside…AND i didnt wet the bag. Probably why I couldn’t get it to work for too long and went with the old fashioned way.
This dude is informative. Ty
Ive watched this twice an i learned quite a bit. Ty
Where in Pa are you located
@Mason the Mason What it SHOULD look like is tool cut joints after the swirls so they match the edge... Rookie mistake im sure the homeowner wont notice👍
I give the option
For the top of the wall corners when switching to 6” block, do you just stuff in a 2” web piece to make up for the difference when matching an 8” course below? I can’t find 6” return corner blocks anywhere. Would just use 8” in the corner to stay on bond but then the slab doesn’t have a ledge there.
I am from BC, Canada. And i started my first Mixer truck job a month ago. I like the work, love the pay. Why is your guys drum facing the opposite way then ours ? Honest question !!
That’s a great job. Can you do that with a driveway
I have a islander pool from Secard pools that comes out 18 inches of the ground on wood frame. I want to do a concrete deck, will the wooden frame be strong enough to hold the concrete

4:06 That would never pass a real inspection, where you poured the footer on top of 3 PVC pipes ( 9:33 ).
Poor demo.. needed a close up and clean successful try for the Learners!
Great info, thanks. The word you are looking for is linear. Linear feet.
Great video, thanks for sharing. Quick question, if I’m fixing an existing exterior wall that has brick & mortar as my base not painted I just do a two step process leaving the scratch part out correct & is there another mortar mix I can use besides the stucco mix? My area doesn’t seem to have any nearby. Thanks in advance for all your help. E
Nice Looking Curb, very clean!!!
You are a spitting image of your momma. Mom's are awesome!
good job, only negative comment is to wear a mask while mixing... you don't want the dust in your lungs
Curious about why you don’t put mortar on the short sides - just the long ones.
I live in a little cooler climate than yours, a couple clicks outside of montreal. I really like the way you guys do pavers and flagstone on a slab. I would like to do the same as you with maybe tiles or maybe some sort of flagstone. Looking forward to the rest of this job! thanks for sharing.
Thanks for the awesome video. I learned a lot!

In Greece the builders lay the bricks with the holes facing down is there any difference from facing upwards?

Barrier is called a “sill sealer"
This kid is good. It doesn't surprise me that he's in Central PA.
Great Job!! This really helped me estimate the number of blocks I need and show me how to draw a simple diagram to submit to the town for a permit Thanks👍👍
Great could you just zoom your camera in closer please sir ?? Good job thanks for teaching us
Is there a limit to how high (how many blocks) you can stack while the morder is wet?
Thanks man
How do you train yourself not to squeeze the trowel? I’m like a retarded kid with a frog: I just can’t resist squeezing the life out of that thing
Props buddy. Keep up the good work. Dont see many young guys passionate about there work let alone a good trade.
no milk no antifreeze ? yep
What kind and size blocks are those?
Salute mason
Nice. I have to put anchor bolts in soon. Good timing Mason 😊
I couldn't quite see, but I hope Reggie has some eye protection when beating that deck cut-out with that hammer. 'Careful guys!
These are great instructional videos. Do you have more for this specific project? Thanks
All 8 yards? It took 8 yards to cover that? I would have though like 5
Great video. I want to put stone on my brick foundation. Would I do the same thing? Thanks
