This isn't the city centre, this is Broadmead.
I lived most of my married life my daughter and family still live there
Oh…that’s very nice to know..I am sure you miss the calmness sometimes
You walked around the shops and totally missed the much more beautiful and historic places inc the actual centre -narrow quay, the old city, queensq, king street, castle park, redcliffe, welsh back, college green, park street, Christmas steps, the whole of the vast harbourside and more !
Thanks for your feedback…I have a full video of the Harbourside on its own and also some other videos exploring Bristol
Lovely video….Can’t wait to visit Manchester again💯

Good video
Caerphilly is a strange town. It has a fabulous castle and much heritage, the population is a decent size and can call on neighbouring towns such as Bedwas , Trethomas , the Aber valley with Senghennydd at the top. It has reasonably mixed housing with some exclusive areas and roads along with sprawling council estate's and frankly bottom end areas. It has two even three train embarcation points with 15 minute access to Cardiff Wales main city. There are ample pubs , a few clubs , and a few decent places to eat ......buuuut...for all the positives thers is something about Caerphilly a kind of poverty of aspiration that refuses to accept it should not be a bad place to live. Maybe its the wages in tbe area or those dregs areas who would drag the place down . The local council certainly has no interest in Caerphilly its history or its expansion. Its almost like a town that its very difficult to thrive in with many new starter buisinesses failing. I guess its like a labour club where nothing at all happens without the committee's approval and they are all half dead with no vision. A walk through the top of town for retail is depressing , the streets filled with dog ends. The bottom of town better but could be an anywhere town with Greggs, poundland and charity shops. Is it a safe town ? Well there is an inherent aggressiveness especially among the young drinkers and probably best to avoid certain venues late evenings where they congregate. But otherwise valleys friendliness far surpasses Cardiff which many in Caerphilly wish they had been born. I guess its a town that has lost its pride its soul and thanks to the council full of anywhere people its community . Maybe it exists in small areas but not as a whole.
Grew up in Merthyr, left in 1965, thew only thing I recognised was the fountain
I guess 1965 was a very long time ago and definitely there has to be big changes in the area
What a dump
Bristol ❤️😭
Great to see that actual date is given, thanks
I saw someone i know in this video Wow 2:52
Are you from Swansea too?
Typical Neath weather. The town is going downhill now that Marks and Spencer’s is no longer there. It’s a great loss to the town.
the place has no soul

Hi! Wolvo (Wolverhampton born and bred) here, thank you for respectfully venturing through our city centre and explaining the facts about it! Obviously, there is more to see in wolverhampton.. But it is lovely to see someone walking around and showing people what there is to see. Thank you for taking the time to appretiate us :)
Any time!
I only thought bbq vale had the festival park which is closed didn’t realise there’s a town there
Really?
Some areas of Newport are nice, if you have 300.000+ to spend on a house but most of Newport is very rough and run down. It’s full of drugs and social housing, there’s a massive decline in respect, good role models, values and norms. The new friars walk bit is an improvement and a step in the right direction. I grew up in Cwmbran the neighbouring town and enjoyed many good nights out in Newport, but even now it’s terrible. There is also a lot of anti social behaviour in around al of Newport, lots of chavs and poorly educated idiots acting the big man causing a headache for the more civilised folk. If you buy a house in Newport, expect to live in and around mostly social housing where there could be druggies, immigrants, unemployed people that stay up all night blasting music, burnt out cars on the streets and teenagers popping wheelies on their bikes shouting every swear word under the son that they learnt at the age of 5, then expect to be asked for a pound every time you go for a walk by a druggy and step in dog shit everywhere. Newports great if you’re rough around the edges and want to fit into that type of area. Oh and expect to hear the sound of a 1.2 ford fiesta with a modded racing exhaust blearing that exciting thrilling sound of woaoooaaaaaaammmm past your house all night every night with the sound of drum and bass.
What a great content 🎉
Thank you
Been to Cardiff Twice and still didn’t see half of this. Guess it time to visit for the third time 💯
This time, spend more time ☺️
Hello, We are the crew of a show called <You Quiz on the Block> from South Korea; it’s a TV show with two most famous comedians asking random questions to all types of people in our country. We had a guest HeeChan Hwang. We're going to use this video to explain Wolverhampton. So we want to use this video. Can we use your video? Could you tell me an email that i can contact? :))

Great job @gowithcheese. You gave life to the city of Cardiff. I think it I will love to replicate this. Please help with a tour to principality stadium and cardiff City stadium. I think it will add more juice to it when next you want to re-explore the city of Cardiff.
I have never thought about doing this as a tourist. Thanks for this eye opener

In August I will visit New Port for the first time
Nice...I hope you enjoy your stay
Just be careful when you do go. Don't go down pill as that's the rough side of town.
What about Tom
It looks quite nice. Is it a nice place to live ?
I have lived in Ponty all my life (since 1982) but rarely go into town now (if at all). This brought back memories...... The Iron Duke used to be a carpet shop if I remember..... we had a TESCO with an escalator, Kwik Save, Woolies, Stead and Simpson on the corner, Terry's Fish Bar, the big carpark by the market entrance where the open air market used to sit, Midlands bank, Barclays bank, and my early hairdresser where me and my dad would go upstairs (was before Wayne came there but cant remember the barbers name)..... Hypervalue further down and the video shop on George Street, just down from the Fountain pub at the top. Thanks for the video
You are welcome and I am glad you enjoyed the video and it brought you great memories 🎊
