That's how they actually sound! Like some woman screaming bloody murder. hahah I sculpted one from sculpey clay and it sounded just okay but not that great. imagine 50 of them going at once. whew.

I found it odd he never asked exactly how to use this thing so he just blows into it with zero thought & paid the price of losing his friend then everything else he does is also without though so he paid the full price . Best to know just what you have when it comes to mystical death items. Not a smart man as we all know once your stuck with it you can't just toss it away as they always come back . Interesting this thing was actually a whistle for the pre Columbian period. At least that may have been a real thing but I doubt they looked like this one did. They had a variety of shapes & this one we see I have seen for sale on Amazon as a toy.

Its scary what they 'turn' into toys, isn't it. But then again, Parker Brothers owns the rights to the Ouija....which is not a toy. They also had versions of the Zuni Fetish doll from Trilogy Of Terror on Amazon. Unbelievable after watching that film (and learning they are REAL) that anyone would buy such an object.

Exactly. He knowingly used it for a dark purpose & then thinks just throwing it away (and smiling no less!) will fix everything. No one works for free, particularly not Evil.

That is when you like a bratty kid, taking something that is not their own and playing with it then throwing it away and crying because they got caught, lol. Good on you. His best friend dies and decides to play with fire. Great film and great acting by all.

Just that she was a bratty kid, lol She was a brat, taking something that was not hers off the shelf and when the adult asked for it back. She hid it behind her back and threw a tantrum, threw it to the ground and ran off crying for attention, lol. Then again, thank goodness for her brattiness because he got exactly what he deserved, lol.

Great film!! I love it. Fun fact: The Aztec death whistle is a pre-Columbian wind instrument that was used in Mesoamerican cultures. The whistles are known for their frightening, woman screaming like sound. Archaeologists believe the whistles were used in burials and sacrifice rituals to guide the souls of the deceased. Thanks Google. I have one, and MY DOGS HATE IT. 😢
