Hello, im from spain. You recomended use easy shift before first service? Is my first bike with that and I dont know if its good or bad for the engine. Sorry for my english.
The manual says (at least for my 2024 Svartpilen 125) that it shouldn't be taken offroad as it is not designed for it lol. Any breakdowns offroad won't be covered by warranty or Husqvarna breakdown cover. Looks like it can do these logging roads just fine though. It has the Pirelli Scorpion rally tyres, but they are only 17'' rims, so it is really an "urban scrambler" but I wouldn't hesitate to take it light offroading like you have in this video.
It's impossible to start when the engine is warm?
Awesome bike 👍
Did I just saw the riding modes in Svartpilen 401?
yes
Trevlig film. Ser ut som en trevlig hoj. Man kanske skulle provköra en 🙂
Tackar! Du bör absolut provköra den, jag tycker den är helt fantastisk 👍
Serene place for a day out on a nice machine
Absolutely, thanks for watching 👍
Hermosos lugares en una hermosa moto 🙌🏻 aún no tengo una motocicleta, espero algún día tener mi propia flecha negra 😂
Gracias y buena suerte 👍
It's midges and horse flies that are killing me here. Can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm looking forward to Autumn. Those logging tracks go on forever. Looks like you are really enjoying your bike mate. 👍
Yes horse flies are the worst! I'm not looking forward to autumn, next comes winter 🥶 I love this little bike, I will probably keep it forever. Cheers mate 👍
Hello! Could you , please, make a video of you cleaning and lubricating the chain and the sprockets? If you do it yourself. Thanks!
I will do a video on it eventually
I completely agree that it’s more fun riding a slow bike fast. I’ve actually had more fun riding a scooter like Moto GP 🤣. Don’t feel bad, mosquitoes love me a lot. Be safe bro.
Nasty little insects ! Cheers mate 👍
Didn't put it in water t run. The other demonstration guys do. Its AIR COOLED. This guy gets it. Nice job. Helpfu tips. Thank you.
Cheers 👍
thank you so much for your video i have been looking at these mounts and thought why is the price so high must be really good then i found your video a genuine review and its as i thought its a peace of crap and overpriced thank you so much i hope you got your refund and got out to try the set up for the go pro and the mic is crystal clear again thank you
Thanks!
Hello from Canada, I thought to ask you since you’re one of the first to own the 2024 version we don’t have them yet. I was talking to a dealer and he told me that they’re having problems clearing them into Canada because of engine issues they possess. Is there anything you know ,you can tell me? Enjoy watching your videos keep them up.🇨🇦👉🏼🤙🏼
Never heard of it. Cheers 👍
Someone on Reddit, take that for what it's worth, said that there are more EPA hoops to jump through in the US that are holding things up. I, personally, don't have a clue if that is the legitimate reason or not. I wish things would hurry up though.
Where can i get the propeller? My 3.6 2-stroke will be here on the 5th
Try Google?
Do you have dealers that have Cfmoto overthere to test ride the Cfmoto 450 MT?
No dealer close to me, and I won't travel 400km to test ride a bike I wouldn't buy anyway 🤷♂
@@GurrasGarage Was interested in your opinion mainly!
My Honda is also 820mm, but I can't flat foot. You pronounce the name Husqvarna the correct way. 👍
How tall are you? As a swede I absolutely should get the name right 😄 Cheers mate 👍
I'm 5 foot 6 inches, with a 29 inch inseem.
Nice review, please do an updated version
Thanks, I will when I get the time
It’s nice how you can flat foot the bake when stopped. That’s simply a great looking bike. Ride safe.
Sure is, and it will fit shorter riders too 👍
When I looked at these at the dealership I was surprised at their size. Bigger than I thought. Really nice egronomics.

What mirror and knuckle protectors are using?
Just ordered mine on Amazon today (July 27, 2024). $189. Free shipping.
Great price 👍
I'm 186cm, will it be too small for me? I'm planning on getting one, but have no ability to test one, have to order online, so i'm a bit cautious. And all the reviews are done by 150cm indians so i have no realistic comparison 😆
I am 182cm and its not too small for me
185cm..perfect, and you'll love it.
how is the swing arm? the previous year bikes had a lot of problems with that
No issues on mine, the 2024 models are 90% new design so hopefully any problems (if there was any) are solved.
Im from spain. Where u buy a radiator protector?

Verkligt fin hoj.
You had a great day for a ride. I could hear the stones hitting the bash plate on the forest track with my headphones on. I would say the same for the Honda CB500X, 80% road and 20% off road capable and better with upgraded suspension. 👍
Good thing to have that bash plate! I tested a Honda CB500X a few years back and I really liked it, never got a chance to do any offroad with it but a it felt like a very good ADV bike, and very good price too. A lot cheaper than a Africa Twin or Tenere700. Cheers mate 👍
Ive the same bike for like 1month. Its only at 400km, couldn't ride much due to my personal works to do. Still trying to figure out, i mean understanding the bike. Feels quite good tho. For the first time i switched off traction control today. It became more combative. (or its just the placebo effect idk :)) Its good to have lots of specs on a 400cc bike.
You will love it even more after first service, then the fun start for real ☺👍
@@GurrasGarage Does it really make that much difference? What exactly happens after the service?
You can go full throttle all the time, you wont be restricted to 7000rpm as you are suppose to during break in.
@@GurrasGarage ah yes i see, thank you so much for giving attention :)^^
Looks like the bike does very well off-road bro. Yeah, try not to look like a moose in October lol.
@@Viper6-MotoVlogger 😆 I will try not too 👍
You can also make the suspension softer if the road gets less comfy.
I know, I have done that 😉
Was that 11 knots or 11km/h?
Watch the video
Hello, thanks for the video, is it going faster with the aluminium prop instead of the plastic one? If so, how much faster is it going?
@@MeloneAzzurro No speed gain unfortunately
Any other gain in performance with it? Thank you for the answer

if You will know speed of Satechi phone dock usb c which I can use as a T7 dock station let me know please. hope to hear that in both of sides is usb c and it handle 3.2.2 then. Want to keep T7 in any nice dock on the desk, and change it between other T7 depend of project I work in Final Cut. T7 on the from of Satechi Mac mini hub doesn't look good daily. Dock could be perfect. I saw wooden on Etsy for four t7 but its little bit expensive solution :)
@zemanns sorry I havent tested that
If u have bluetooth connectivity, make a video on it and navigation
you forgot to say please
@@GurrasGarage yes, please do it brother.!
Den lilla Svartpilen är jättesnygg. Thank you for the videos of this model, and for showing what an Indian made A2 Husqvarna/KTM is like in day-to-day.
👍
I love this little beast 40plus hp. I own this also
I wonder how many men will now use their wife’s lasagna pan for their oil change 😁
Hopefully none
Looks like they treated the bike with care, doesn't always happen with the big dealerships 😒
Absolutely, smaller dealers are usually better, I have no complaints here 👍 Cheers!
Hey Gurra, Congratulations on breaking in your Svartpilen 401! 🥳 Wish you a ton of fun unleashing the full potential of this amazing motorcycle!
Thanks, its a lovely bike indeed 👍
Hello, can you suggest the best suspension adjust for me? Mine weight is around 58 KG. at which point I have to set the suspension and rebound?
I weigh 84kg, so I cant really suggest any settings for you, also it depends on what roads you are riding on, crappy roads a softer suspension is a start.
She goes like a bat out of hell now after the first service. You are so correct, who needs a litre bike? Sand on asphalt? 🤔 👍
It's amazing how much power it makes for such a small motor! Couldn't be happier 🤗 Cheers mate 👍
Thanks for putting out these videos btw. Not a whole lot of "day to day" content on this bike yet.
Thanks for watching 👍
I wish this bike would hurry up and get to America!
any issues so far??
No, none at all
I'm gonna buy this baby soon..
hey just a casual doubt can you please check if vit 401 seat is a straight swap on to this or i need hardware changes too ... i am feeling the seat cloth moving a little bit loose on svart 401 during spirited riding never felt that on vit 250 thinking of swapping seats and fender delete if you ever visit the dealer kindly check these 2 i mentioned
I can but I was there on friday doing the 1000km service, I won't go back until next service. Maybe you can mail Husqvarna Motorcycles, they will know for sure.
@@GurrasGarage naahh I'm from India ktm sells huskies here and they are mostly focused on their own machines
Hello, I probably missed this, but does it have a USB connector? Thanks :)
@@MegaPomsta Yes 👍
I have a 2023 Vitpilen. I got it because of looks and I haven't hit break in yet. It is killing me, but I got a great deal on it and I can't wait for the Houston weather to calm down so I can take it on long rides.
I've discovered a problem with these. The carb they use is undersized for starters. It has a 12 mm bore I think. More importantly I discovered that they don't utilize crank case pressure to actuate the fuel pump. Instead that port is open to the engine side of carb bore itself. It will of course see some pressure pulses, but not nearly enough relative to what it would get from the crank case. Also, seems to me at least, that at WOT the rotovalve will be completely open resulting in even less of a pulse exactly when you need it most. I do not see any practical way of engineering a solution to this. Every single replacement carb that I can find has a port on the engine side that should go to crank pulse. The engine on these Hangkai motors has no port there. Also they use a combination of mounting plates/risers so that, in my opinion, makes it even more difficult. These motors do have a crank vent tube that goes to the breather. I've been rolling around the possibility of somehow tapping into that in order to use a better carb. So far I don't have a solution.
Ok, fine but does any of this matter. It is still a 50cc 4 stroke 2hp motor. You can not expect it to run better or faster than this. I get 5 knots on a boat that weigh 200kg total.
@@GurrasGarage Of course it matters, especially the latter point. It simply cannot function properly with it's design and it should have been simple to make a better design.
@@jerworth3118 Its a Honda GXV50 clone, have the exact same performance, have Honda done a bad design too ? www.manualslib.com/manual/904869/Honda-Gxv50.html
@@GurrasGarage there are some differences. The Honda carb will not work on this motor. In fact I don't think it's possible to get a replacement carb for it. I've scoured the internet searching for one. Even those listed on Amazon and eBay for the motor don't actually work. I can show you pictures of the difference if your want. It also means the integrated fuel pump is weak at best and prone to fuel starvation.
@@jerworth3118 Dont bother, not interested. Its a $250 motor that runs perfectly fine, as I showed in several videos. If you want a faster motor go up in hp and price.
