There are so many useful forms of weaving material out there, never thought of rhubarb before. How long did you dry out the skins for? And how long does the basket last?

Do you have any yutorials on how you're twisting there, plus the other vids you show like weaving etc, which is so great but too fast for us complete novices? Thank you 🌠🙏

Glad you posted this! There is invasive knotweed in my area and it is supposedly somewhere between bamboo and rhubarb (it is edible, but I have yet been brave enough to try it!). But the idea that I can use the fibers for a basket is very appealing to me and many neighbors (and the city/state) won’t be upset if I forage some for experimenting!

Your basket weaving skills are amazing ! Been thrilled to see each of these vids you make and trying to learn a little weaving skills. My grandma could weave just about anything in a few seconds with grass just trying to teach myself some weaving skills lately. :)

Pretty! Have you ever tried weaving flax, the plant that produces linen fiber? Lots of long, strong fibers.

Okay so I always see these tutorials for starting and making the cordage but it never shows how to finish the rope. Do you just give it a couple overhand knots? Or a sheepbend?

Quick question: is it preferable to use the flower stalks or could you mix in some daffodil foliage too? I noticed they’re a different thickness. Thanks!
