Airport opened in 2017, plan was to expand and add stuff, but covid hit in 2020, plan is to add more gates and both sides of the departure area, in check in area, there are 60 check in desks, however empty area the beginning of your video is where another 60 check in desks will be added and an waiting area with a restaurant/bar. current structure is designed for 10 million passengers, once the terminal hits these figures within few years, they'll add more services and so on, eventually terminal will expand to accommodate around 25-30 million passengers including 25 passenger boarding bridges. In terms of size terminal will eventually be the similar size to Heathrow's 2nd terminal with 25 boarding bridges and 16 remote stands. There are 2 more restaurants in departure area you've missed, one is Croatian food, and another is typical fast food joint. Departure area is now slpit in to two, Schengen area and non-Schengen. Zagreb is interesting place, but you need to travel with friends and not on your own, when I was there with a bunch of m8s we did so much stuff, Plitvice lakes, hike to Medvednica, visit Varazdin, Ljubljana, Bled and hike around Samobor hills. Of course ideally you'll need a car for traveling, but everything is with in relative short distance. Zagreb itself is size of Leeds, and has little to offer other than bit of history and architecture, it looks like any other large central European city.
