I am just a gal who loves music and has a passion for jazz and learning to improvise. This is my personal journey. You’re welcome to come along for the ride.
I like that!!! When I was really young......I even a perpetual motion exercise like this through a modified cycle of downward fifths.

Your video reminded me that I need to practice these short patterns a lot more over chord changes of tunes that I start working on. Can't do it yet. Important exercise.

@@barbpk1 That was my plan. Tried it a few times already, will have to improve. Also I'm currently stuck with Dave's Simple Steps to Improvisation Success at playing the inversions of the seventh chords on a Jazz blues. 1st inversion works quite well already. Starting the arpeggios on the third was an important step.

Interesting tutorials. Have you heard of the famous painter Angelika Kaufmann who painted a famous portrait of Marie Antoinette, the wife of Louis X1V of France and was the girlfriend of Jean Paul Marat French resistance leader who destroyed the monarchy in the French revolution and died assassinated in 1789. I was a sax pupil of Bob Wilber in around 1789
