    Thanks so much for your video. I just arrived at a campground with my fifth wheel and could lower the tailgate to unhook. While I was able to raise the fifth wheel high enough to get the truck and camper separated…I worked for a while, with no success, before I watched your video. Like the others, five minutes and the tailgate is down and the parts are ordered. Much appreciated!

    Thanks! I ended up with the Olympus OM system TG-7. It's a tough little camera ; Waterproof to 50ft (but I wouldn't take it scuba diving) Shock proof to 7ft, crush rated to 220# (I still can't step on it:) and dust proof and will operate down to 15 degree's F. It also has a macro-mode where it can take images from 1/2 inch away, which is great for repair video's.

    Looking at buying this same tractor, planning on storing it in a shipping container which has an inside width of 92". Do you think getting out the tractor door would be an issue....?

  • @astrodiver1
    @astrodiver12 ай бұрын

    Just measured it for you. The width is 62" to the outside of the rear tires. Height to the top of cab is 91". My Garage is 8ft tall and it barely clears. Opening the door might work if the tractor was closer to one side. The tractor doors open ~ 2ft wider than the out side of the rear tires so about 86" wide with one door open,

    I just purchased a 3000 washer a couple of weeks ago and it does a good job on my farm equipment. I had one problem with it. While I was using the washer it would shut off and and I could not turn it back on. I found that I had lights turned on in another room that was on the same circuit the washer plugged into. The washer takes a minimum and 14 amps to operate. The circuit I had it plugged into was a 120 volt/15 amp. So now I make sure I have nothing else plugged into that circuit while running the pressure washer.

    The more research I do on these new John Deere 100s, the more aggravated I get with how much more steel was taken away. Just realized here that the battery holder was way-significantly cheapened- it used to be a drop-in holder, and now it's just a basic tray that relies on a rubber strap. The hood holder bracket also used to be heavy duty steel- and it's been changed to plastic. The driver's station also used to be formed from a steel riser and topped with plastic control panel, but the whole thing is now plastic. Also not happy with how that hood is now snap-together plastic instead of just one big molded piece.

  • @astrodiver1

    It did leak a small amount at the Teflon taped fitting at the top for a few hours. The nice thing about those type of fittings is they tend to self seal over time. Be careful not to over tighten plastic fittings they crack easily. Mine doesn't leak at all and has been running about 6 hrs a day for the past 2 years.

    Hello. I was foing to purchase this, but then started reading some bad reviews. We have a pretty large driveway and a 15 inch surgave cleaner. I just sold our big gas harbor freight and i think i might of made a mistake. I read that you can't run it more than an hour, dont ise an extension cord, and multiple people saying it just just off and wouldn't start again and sometimes turning it off and on it will work again. Do you think i should just get another gas one if I have a large driveway? Thank you.

  • @astrodiver1
    @astrodiver13 ай бұрын

    I don't run mine for more than 10 minutes ( give it a few minutes at "idle" then move it 15ft ect.) but they are great for cleaning the house and walkways around it and cars ect. As long as your within '150 from the house you should be fine for 4 ish years. Gas is heavier and more complicated but can be used independently, electric is simple, quiet but needs to be near a power source.

  • @astrodiver1

    Not that I know of. I had cleared all the codes before I replaced the SRS sensor. When I started it the tire monitor was off because I cleared the codes. Tire pressure monitors take a few minutes or miles of driving before they read again.

Even the drain holes on the battery tray are at high points based on the angle of the tray. It's full of water. Well, at least they didn't put the battery under the driver's seat.
