  Tyler Perry fans will enjoy this movie because they support Tyler Perry and not his work. It doesn’t have to be good, new, fresh, or entertaining material for them to watch it. For everyone else you will notice that it is typical Tyler Perry style writing. The DARK, angry, resentful, mad, dysfunctional, stereotypical, trauma riddled, miserable broken, abusive and shattered maternal that encompasses all of Tyler Perry’s work. Corey and Meagan are extremely talented actor and actress who’s acting got dumbed down because of the writing they were given. What’s worse is that it’s sad but people are going to probably be persuaded to believe that this was Meagan and Corey’s divorce situations from this movie when publicly there was no evidence to support that their marriages were abusive or violent yet people are gonna take it and run because of this movie. The movie was wayyyy toooooo predictable. Tyler Perry sees nothing good , productive, positive, enjoyable, compassionate, progressive or prosperous in black love . Only struggle, destruction, hurt, pain misery, devastation, deception and decay. It’s really sad how many of his other works made up this movie, from diary of a mad black women to Madea’s family reunion to well them all. Richard Lawson played the Madea’s role.
