  It actually made me feel a bit sick to watch to watch that. The ships crane operator had absolutely no visual at all of that and his hatchman had no radio! Those guys are probably getting paid peanuts to take those kind of insane risks. Wonder how many get killed every year at that port? Disgusting.

  Sorry for your experience brother. Sadly, the GoG territorial waters are not allowed to have armed guards on, especially the EEZ, Benin is the only country that allows it. Otherwise we have to use Nigeria, Ghana, Togo and Benin Navy to escort or embark teams. Stupid. If I was there with my team, these pirates would be toast.

  This was most definitely NOT an emergency landing as an emergency landing would require the flight to have been airborne in the first place, which didn't happen with this flight.

  ......and being on board a inernational cargo vessel...we have an armed guard..on board our vessel..specially in the pirates or red area..of Gulf Of Aden...and vessel was equiped with barbed wire...and water hose...and restricted passage ways...ad 24/ hours for 3 days bridge watch...by The Crew..

  there are other videos with more info/context on this by Vasaviation and the Flightchannel. That is from years ago and the reactor exploded during takeoff so they stopped on runway and evacuated. You have 90s to get out of a plane, people that take stuff like hand luggage with them ....not so great idea Also the video shows well the "do I look or go away to be secure in case it explode ? "

  Every boat or Ship. Especially carrying cargo goods. Should Be allowed to carry guns and ammunition. So if they can't afford Security. Then just blow the Scum. Out of the water.
