I am ashamed of the colonialism. No good has come of it. Thank you to this wonderful human for sharing his story-speaking out and facing the truth is not only how we can prevent these things from happening again, but also giving strength to others who had or go through this to also speak out… at the very least: hope. I often think of what it would have been like if the colonizers had assimilated or at the very least not gained so much power. #landback ✊🏻

❤ from Karnataka, India to Native Americans. Follow Philosophy of Buddhism. Buddhism can save Indigenous cultures, languages, traditions like South East Asian countries.

I think the point is that their culture and religion was stolen from them to make way for a new one. Following Buddhism isnt going to fix that.

I respect you brother! Being a slave on its own country. The U.S. gave small territory lines for the First Nation in total isolation for centuries, is a prison, which the U.S. call reservations? they are concentration camps, with rules against the First Nation.

So heart-breaking. I feel the agony this person has suffered and continues to suffer. Even after so many years have gone by, his emotions are still raw. 💔 How cruel were the Americans and Christians. Even today, the oppressors are oppressors.

My parents built their own home in Mill Valley CA. They both worked. We had a garden for food, they made their own wine. Taught me from age 2 how to be self sufficient.

Over the past 20 years here in Sunrise Country Club and across the street, I have been raped, beaten, robbed, and put in handcuffs and dragged down a driveway. I live next door to Bobby (3 La Ronda) and he is a CRIMINAL! He is on Megan’s Law since 1977. He is still a current criminal, the photo of him is recent and he is in violation. Ester his mother is a criminal and she like a man named Frank Segoviano who stole all my belongings, my food and raped me by coming in my bedroom at night and touching my breasts! The Sheriffs have been abusive. They dragged me out of my garage and put me in handcuffs when all they needed to do was ask to see my identification.

This was heartbreaking. Makes me very angry, and I'd like to hit those that hit him and the other children. It's wrong to do that and they mustn't be really alive inside to do have done that. I do feel emotion first than think sometimes but still, it's very wrong. I've a lot of care for this gentleman. He's a true warrior in my eyes

Today China is doing same thing jn Tibet kids from 4 to 8 are taken away to residenziale "schools" where there are not a single tibetan teacher. We r in 2023 and West and world are bowling to China. Tibetan culture is systematically being destroyed. So sorry for native people for the sufferings they were forced to.

What happened and what continues to happen to the native people of this country is an absolute travesty. If anything, the native people's of this country knew how to live in harmony with the planet, and maybe if that were to be our main driving force in this country, and not the constant exploitation of resources and people for personal gain, we wouldn't be staring the reality of depleting our resources and killing our planet in the face.

We know who provoked many traumas and addictions to tribes, I don’t care if you hate my comment. This is sad because not all kids learn in the same way 🥹 they enjoyed to traumatize kids than learn their language.
