I have this dress that I love, but the sleeves keep on slipping off my shoulders. I got it on Amazon. I would like to go to my tailor to have it altered, but this tailor, he's an old man. I only went to him to get my pink lace dress altered so it wouldn't look too much like an old lady dress. I also went to him to pick it up. If I go to him ever again, I will feel like I'm treating him like a slave. I don't want him to feel that way. When I first met him, he looked to be about 48 to 50 years old. But then, the day after my birthday, he told me that he was 73 years old. I don't wanna overwork that old man. He's probably gonna feel like I'm treating him like a slave. He's a very sweet and lovely guy. He's also one of my good friends. He loves to travel to Greece and the Dominican Republic. He enjoys playing beach ball. He also enjoys walking long distances, cutting down dying trees, and building sheds.

This isn't a chest freezer that you're talking about. By definition, a chest freezer is the type you find in a garage that has the lid/door on top. No drawers. Your freezer is a pull-out or drawer freezer. Also, $80+ for plastic organizer bins? I'm in the wrong business.

What a perfect message! That’s how I do my scripture study now too…and God does speak to me every day and once I hear his message, I know my study is done for the day. Same with exercise, I give it what my body can give that day. Simpilfy! Great message. Out of small things great things come to pass ❤

I KNOW you still have great hair, but you are such a good reviewer, you should start reviewing wigs! I mostly only buy PY (Paula Young) because of affordability and we ladies in the PY Wig support groups would love to have someone additional to review the wigs for us. I think with PY you have to buy your own wigs for the review (but then you could always sell them afterwards).

I googled how to hang a wreath as I also have a fiberglass door! But the man of house said no nails or screws! We had old custom wood doors and the frames a bit odd too! New weather stripping stiff. So hangers won't work! I'm so glad I found your great idea!

I think the key to organizing is to purge as much as you can before you can organize it. And if you decide there’s nothing you can purge, perhaps create a shoe capsule wardrobe per season and store the rest elsewhere. I like to use under the bed storage boxes for other out if season shoes like flip flops and boots that are too big for shoe boxes. 😊 Have a happy day! Paula

I've just found you & your channel. I'm a lil late to the🎉 😂. But want to thank you so very much for sharing your organizing/ life tips/ hacks! I'm a very visual person. Maybe to a fault. The flipside is I was finally diagnosed with ADHD (attentive type) after 48+yrs on this planet. Many things that worked for me in my younger mom yrs, just don't even hold water for my perimeno brain these days. I've been searching all over for different ideas I've not come across b4. Days like these I'm very grateful for technology & gracious people like you for taking time to share with the rest of us.!😊

Hi Ella, You're so very welcome. I, too, am visual and suspect I have some level of ADHD. I've also recently read articles describing highly sensitive people (HSP) and think many traits resonate with me, including being overwhelmed with a lot of visual clutter. And oh yes, Meno-brain is real and annoying. ;-) Happy closet organizing! Paula

Oh Paula, if only we could take the "credit" for any answers to our prayers!! We don't have that "power" over God's design. All we can do is trust that God knows what's best for us all and ask for the strength to see these changes as He wants us to. It's extremely hard to "lose" a child to another state and away from the family. I haven't had my son live near me (in Pennsylvania) in over 15 years. I've accepted his choices of where to live and where to work, even though my heart always cried at each move he made. I've asked God to keep my son close in spirit and heart, even if it couldn't be close in proximity. And He has kept that request over these years. Last summer, my son and DIL moved closer to my home (from Louisiana to North Carolina) and I am so happy! They were able to come up here in September and over Christmas and they'll be up again this summer! This, compared to not seeing them for 4 years, has been so joyful for this mama!! So continue to trust in God, Paula, that things will change as they should and you will find new ways to appreciate these changes. I'll keep you in my prayers!

Hang in there mama!! God has this and He will work everything out for the good (Romans 8:28). I will keep you and your family in my prayers. Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us - it helps to know we are not alone in these struggles. Sending you virtual hugs!! 🥰

I survived the pandemic in part because I searched for a 50+ menopause blog and found you! I binge read your blog from back to front and spent a ton of money on things I didn’t know I needed 😂. You brought me joy when I was desperately trying to hold onto mine. You were truly Heaven sent at that time. I can’t wait to hear how God has worked out all of your present worries, because we know He will!
