Thanks 😊 my wife thinks I'm a handyman ❤
Not sure. Why no one else caught this.. But the radius is not 8 inch. That's the diameter. The radius is half. Which would be 4in.. u then take 4² x Pi, Then multiply that by the height and that's how you get volume. I only know this from calculating port area on speaker boxes as well as using Radius times Pi to calculate subwoofer cone area... Point is, the volume of that is about a quarter of what that speaker needs....just saying.
If ever you needed a tripod so u can Lee the camera steady and pan out
Thanks for the very informative video... we did attempt to use wheels but it was a different set-up that was working but isn't near as good as it could be... I believe that your fix will be extremely helpful... We had a lot of black powder going on from the lid scraping against the metal... I'm sure my husband will swap over to your method now... Thank you so very much for taking the time to do this video :)
We followed pretty much all of the steps and methods suggested. We used a lot more Ready Seal than planned, but the fence looks amazing and I'm hoping the stain lasts longer. Thanks!!
Very nice!👍🏼👌🏽 great creativity 👏🏽 😊I like very much!
Very nice!!!
I remember back in the day guys use to take sonotubes to make an enclosure the beauty of round subwoofer enclosures is they take up very little space!
Great video.
Great video thank you 👍
I am back to see another of your builds.

amazing detail. I want to build one, where can I get the plans to download?
The plans are actually in the last seconds of the video. Pause, screenshot, print. If you have trouble…PM me and I’ll email to you
Very cool idea, durable and effective.
Id say sounds preeetty awesome i myself personally love the pvc sub tube and have built a 4" x 14" Bluetooth speaker using a 4" cerwin vega sub
The 3.6 L engines are designed to run hot. The cooler thermostat will only delay the engine temps going up.....the vents do nothing but allow rain in. That's why the sort hoods Jeep sells do not have the vents. The cowl good for Moab version has a recessed induction vent that doesn't allow water in.
Thanks for the info! I was having RED LINE overheating issues. Not just a “designed” hot running issue. I’ve since added high volume marine bilge blowers to the vents (since moving to Florida) and they help immensely. I’ve never had any issues with “rain”, and it rains here in Florida substantially! Also added a fuel line insulation kit that helped as well…. I have a video for that install as well if interested. Thanks again for your input.
seriously I love this, more longer content like this needs to be suggested by youtube
Wow! This is sweet, thank you for making this video! thank you youtube for recommending it as well, this is what I remember old youtube being👍
Great video, this was in suggested videos and had to watch. Awesome build👍
Awesome! Thank you!
Excellent job and very interesting, can't wait to see the paint job,had to share it with my Son Payton and also Casey 💥
thank you
Thank you, that was allot of help
Thank you for the idea on cutting the insulation wrap for the injectors. I was trying to figure out a way to wrap them around the injector neatly I did not like the way they fit without cutting them. Thank you again!
This her grandson happy birthday
That is really awesome but it would have been cool af if u had made a few ears on the wood and ran like a 3/8 allthread from wood to wood may be idk jus a thought
Thank you for your video I really helped a lot God bless you!!
Thank you. 🙏 please consider subscribing to my Chanel. Lots of good Jeep stuff.
Looks amazing!!! If one jar can find my desk that would be awesome. 😊
Paint it black.
Genius!! Did you ever replace the bulb wity an LED?
Bravo.......my new goto.....x6000........flex clear paintable...acids ...rubber to metal.....blown speaker....Michele craft store.....not at lowes.....cheers
Isn't too small?? Does PVC gives a good bass??
You need to measure the air volume and compare it to what the speaker maker suggests. Also subtract for the air that the speaker displaces. It doesn't have to be exact, just close in size.
Awesome build!!!.
agree. super annoying video.
Great job. They sell the PCV "glue" at home depot as well. Basically sets in seconds.
I considered PVC glue. But as I was glueing wood to pvc, not pvc to pvc, I didn’t think what would work. I could be wrong. The Gorilla glue has held strong and stand by my decision of its use in this application. Ty for the comment.
Thanks for the idea sir
would have took a pvc cap and cut a hole in it
Possibly. Worth a try.
Should have vented it
I learned the hard way about going fast. Bloodied my nose a good one. Self drilling screws on a impact gun I found to be faster and cheaper then bits
That is such a cool Idea and it looks like it was made for it. Good job man.
I would love a 8 inch for my trunk
Interesting idea. I was just thinking about a 8" or vetter yet a 10" pvc pipe cut to size so I can install it behind my headlight on my Suzuki M109r and run a pro audio 8"/10" inside. Thanks for posting this.
Nice video but you didn't show the installation, putting the stickers on, placing the magnets, I didn't get to learn what the title promised
Eddie great video thanks for posting this video on the 1996 silverado
Love it
You made a mistake on the calculation the radius is half the diameter. So the tube needs to be twice as long.
What hood vents are those?
Where is bass port for air out of this subs!
This sun is for a sealed airspace
Please dont get me wrong, I had this vague idea put the speaker into a pipe , never knew about the 8'' coupler would solve the Budget Woofer, Dhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaattttttttttttttt eeeeeeeeeeeeeeezzzzzzzzzzzzzz ffffffffffffffffffffeeeeeeeeeeeeeennnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnntttttttttaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaasssssssssssssssssssttttttttttttttttttttttttttttiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiicccccccccccccccccccc , mate .
