I think that setting Iris to about f8 will produce sharp images and correct contrast. This may be a basic rule, but I think that shooting at low sensitivity and f8 in a place with a strong light source will produce sharp images with low noise and correct contrast.

Hi, greetings from Argentina. I have a curiosity: which plugin do you use to achieve this color grading and film damage effect? Honestly, each video is a delight, you do it very well. @@dm_ch_2022 How timely! I hit the mark, then. I'm a big fan of Robert Bresson and I'm very happy to have nailed it in your video, as it indicates that you're very close to emulating him. Thank you so much for your recommendations! Last night, after a lot of research and reading comments on your videos, I came across Dehancer Pro. I ended up buying it and I'm really happy. I took my "little" Sony a6300 with a 50mm f/1.8 to a level I never thought possible. Again, thank you! I had made attempts before, but they always looked very artificial, whether due to the halation, the film breathing, or the damage, which was totally repetitive and meaningless.
