  Beautiful. Thank you! I have a 1994 example of the J30. Tobacco burst. Montana build. It just keeps getting more balanced, warmer and louder with each passing year. Don't sell yours. Ever.

  My one issue with the 314CE is the loss of volume in the b and high e strings. Could have something to do with the bolt-on neck. Not sure. I own the J45 standard and the 314CE. Both are beautiful guitars, but If I'm being honest, I prefer the sound of the J45 a little more. Both are keepers.

  Prefer Taylor. But you need to test similar body shapes. That affects the difference in sound, beyond the differences in manufacturing.

  We need to hear a few more styles of playing. This is not enough. The guitars shine in different genres of music, so one can not be too subject.

  It sound nice but is a little thin and boxy in the bottom end....nothing like the LL16 user-VZ6 ....I got one. Sounds like a mid grade guitar....not the richness of a very good guitar....like a great LL16 with powerful bottom end and rich highs (They're not all great!)

  ITS ALL ABOUT YOUR EAR, MINE SAYS ONE OF THE BEST RICHEST GUITARS I HAVE EVER OWNED OR BEEN A PART OF, PERIOD END OF CONVERSATION, ......IMO GUILD IS THE BEST ACOUSTIC GUITAR BUILDERS IN THE WORLD, BETTER THAN MARTIN OR GIBSON.....OR TAYLOR FOR THAT MATTER 71-YEAR-OLD RETIRED VIETNAM ERA VET, THX GOD BLESS, JOE....LOOK UP REN FERGUSON.......

  Have have a D28 authentic 1937 that sounds a whole lot better than the D28 in this video. However, I will play and probably buy a 914ce this week which is why I found this video. I know I’ll miss the Martin pop.
