Few small points for newbies to think about: 1) Make sure the motor mover is disengaged. 2) Check the caravan door is locked 3) Point the Jockey wheel to the left (right in EU) so if the van is detached it will tend not to head into on coming traffic. 4) Don’t travel with a full cassette.

Here's a great suggestion for the issue at 5:15 when trying to get the plug in the correct location. Once they're together, put a small dab of white paint on the Plug and the Hitch, so that when thy come apart, it's easier to put the two together by connecting the two White Dots. That will make it so much easier, especially in the dark early morning hours before you set off for your next journey.

The caravan brake was fully compressed when you released had you unhitched like this the brake would have uncompressed and damaged your rear bumper.

we bought a folding caravan for 1/4 of the price of one of these. loads more room proper toilet and washroom and easy to tow.

When you plugged the water pump into the caravan socket you forgot to slide the cover down slightly as thats what holds the plug in place
No caravan maufacturer can justify the price differance between the cheapest and expensive models when all ranges use the same cheap and nasry fittings.The only differance is the bullshit on the spec sheet and snob value.I have 2014 unicorn S2 cartagena the build quality is far superior than new models. £40000 for this van in my mind cant be justified
A typical electric kettle uses between 2200 and 3000 watts or 9.5 to 13 amps, not 3.3 amps as you state in the video. Low wattage kettles are available but these take a very long time to boil. Also your figure of 5 amps for a microwave is on the low side - a typical 800w microwave will use around twice that power (and an even higher spike on startup) so 8amps is more realistic. As most appliances specify their power consumption in watts, you would be better off explaining that a 16 amp hookup provides approximately 3500 watts (allowing for a safety margin) and then people can just add up the wattages of their appliances so as not to exceed that.

Apart from the high end models front exterior, that sadly gives a poor forward view but looks very good, the exterior looks awkward and so out of date despite interesting shaped windows. Designers haven’t quite got them right and made too large a miss on being excellent different.

@@CaravanTV a swift bessacarr 645.. it's set up for freedom camping with solar panels lithium battery, satellite dish, DVD player, AC , electric skylights and alde heating..at the risk of coming off as a chav it's a 2006 model so I can afford to make the improvements...at 50k I couldn't afford a new one!!.♥️🇬🇧🇺🇦
