Which dental material suffer from fatigue? Why does ceramic made Prosthesis suffer from fatigue even under low stress of mastication? Kindly ans those question 💥
Thank you for posting your queries :) I have answered your questions in the video, but I'll write them down here again. Almost all dental materials that are present in the mouth for prolonged function and longer periods of time undergo fatigue, these could include restorative materials, prosthodontic materials. Every such type of material undergoes fatigue at some level. Ceramic prosthesis suffer from fatigue under low stress of mastication because the ceramic is brittle in nature and secondly it could also happen because of improper occlusal contact zones, and excessive occlusal loads also act as a cherry on top. That is why scientists are working every day to improve Ceramic as a dental material, by experimenting various types of ceramics as a restoration.
Please make a video on the properties and classification of impression materials.
Sure definitely! Topic added in the list. You will see it soon 😊
Best video on this topic 👏
