Just remember to keep your fingers off your bell, this will make sure your tuning by ear rather than by memory or feeling and also transitioning between note to notes will be smoother concerning 3rd position but this is good playing man. Sorry you got stuck with quarter notes and a few 8ths here and there! 😂
