JaycoRVs

JaycoRVs

The Jayco story begins in a place where fireflies are as plentiful as open fields. It's here, in 1968, where Jayco founder Lloyd Bontrager created an innovative, easy-to-use lifter system that led to a better fold-down camper. Loaded with more conveniences, he believed his camper would bring families closer together.

With the encouragement from his wife, Bertha, Lloyd started Jayco on their farm - in the barn and in two chicken houses. By the end of 1968, his fledgling company of 15 employees sold 132 camping trailers. Since then, Jayco has grown to include employees, suppliers, dealers and RV owners, helping shape everything from family livelihoods to family journeys.

For over 50 years, we've helped generation after generation create family memories - good, old-fashioned family fun built around campfires with a Jayco RV nearby. Today, we are part of Thor, the largest RV manufacturer in the world, and our promise remains to continually strive to build family-friendly products.

    I think an issue maybe not far away. My a/c unit the fan blower unit is acting funny it’s cutting off and on a lot when it cuts out it’s only off maybe 5-10 seconds at a time this may occur 10-15 times an hour

    I dislike the hardware on the cabinets. They will snag a sweater and tear it when you are walking by. They are dangerous in kitchens but cheap and often used. In small spaces, handles that stick out should be avoided anyway. I like the wood. I've been seeing a lot of high gloss and airplane overhead cargo style cabinets. Nothing like a home and I can't stand either. I very much like a natural looking wood and that's pretty. I fail to understand why dishwashers aren't a more frequent option in these. Super sick of HOA brown. Yuk. I never like upholstery color options. But... I really, really hate the way ALL rv makers think it's cool to paint the exterior so that they'll all look like giant athletic shoes going down the road.

    AC's freezing up has nothing to do with high humidity bro. It's one of two things, either poor air flow or low on refrigerant. I worked in AC manufacturing for 24 years so I know how they work!! AC's need to run on high fan always.

    Put the cabinet next to the bunk on the opposite wall next to the fridge and make the sofa longer, would be the only way I would consider it, Tall people need a longer bed.

    Can i ask how much electricity the stove needs to run? And can you run the big fridge while driving down the road? A LOT of people are looking to boondock (too many people in the campgrounds and not enough campgrounds for all the people

  • @jayco
    @jaycoАй бұрын

    Hi there! The stove needs 1750 w/hr (150 F - 450 F) to run. We use a 12V refrigerator in the 29T, while in the other floorplans, we use a 120V residential refrigerator. Both refrigerators can be used while driving down the road.

    Bravo, Jayco! This is a fantastic game changing coach from a major mfg. I love the no slides, the upgraded lift/suspension, the F600, the aux lights, the upgraded bumper and winch accommodation. Being 30 feet is perfect to fit in at all the National Park campgrounds. The 2 year warranty is fantastic. However, as a traveling couple with 1 kid, we would love another floor plan option with a fixed bed and a face-to-face dinette. Having to tear down and make the bed every single day is a PITA. The bunk is perfect for the kid, us older people don't like climbing up/down the bunk due to numerous bathroom visits at night. Also, please offer an upgrade rear bumper with recover hooks, lithium house battery upgrade option (2x 320AH Lithionics would be perfect) and at least 600 watt of solar on the roof. Also, please offer the Truma AquaGo as an option. The coach has a large fresh water tank, having on-demand endless hot water would be awesome. Thank you. We are looking to trade in our 2018 View 24J and this is at the top of our list.

    I just bought my first jayco camper and it is the SLX Baja single axle without bunk beds. The dealer is getting it ready for me right now but I forgot to look when I was there, do they all have the pre-installed ladder attachment on the back? The dealer was absolutely no help.

    I put a deposit on a 2023 Seismic 359. Independent inspector noted numerous big problems. Terminated inspection and deposit refunded. Get any inspected, even if new. If it has roof issues like this “new” one did, game over. Jayco and their dealers should be ashamed of what is being pushed to customers. RV industry is a scam.

    Great RV but FYI, we had to redo the front cap led lights and replace them already as they arent sealed on top, so water and moisture gets in and they burn out. A flaw in designing?
