I agree, I believe AK will SHINE in this offense, but you can't negotiate a contact on I belive or I think. I belive the Saints want to see him in this offense for 3 or 4 games, and if he is what he used to be then they will extend him. I love AK but we have to be careful with this cap and we don't want to be in another Cam Jordan situation. If AK wants to pull a L'veon Bell and sit out the entire season and ruin his carrer. That's on him. He is contractually obligated to play this year. We halve OVERPAID him the last 3 years according to his stats, regardless of who's fault it is, it is what it is.

I don't believe the fact that the Saints receivers haven't gotten much yac recently isn't anything to do with Shaheed or Olave not being able to break tackles. It's a combination of two thing, one you point out all the time, the scheme Pete Carmichael ran did not create any space for the receiver to run. AND I bet you a thousand dollars that Dennis Allen's SCARY A?? was telling his skill players not to fight for yards after the catch, because that's how fumbles are created. I hate that SCARY FEARFUL way of playing football but that's who Dennis Allen is, and calls it being smart, but in reality it's playing timid/scared/conservative, and that won't get us anywhere. Scared money don't make money!
