Thanks for your video and the amazing pictures.
Thank you so much for sharing your valuable experience with us. I started studying your videos about long exposure a few days before, and I am excited to start shooting long exposure during the day. Until now I was shooting primarily Milkyway and Startrails, but daytime long exposure photography is a new photography world to me. By the way NISI is discontinuing their ND calculator app (for android at least). I am thinking to buy soon a square ND filter set from K&F to start my long exposure adventure!
amazing photos long exp

Is 16.6(100000) too much ? I have 10, sometimes its not enough but i dont see nd32000 in my filter thread size..
Hi Attilio. I absolutely love this video thanks.
Thank you for the wonderful videos on long exposure photography. They have helped me very much. I so enjoy your style and method of communicating. It brings a sense of calm and joy. I know you haven’t posted in a while and I wish you the best in all parts of life !
Attilio, THANK YOU! I have my first trip to Iceland planned for the end of October and a couple of the places you photographed were already on my list. Thank you for giving me more ideas to try and push my skills further. Also I appreciate you sharing your various photos of the same location trying to narrow down the right shot.
Another great tutorial. Thanks. You have the ability to know what are critical in editing and how to do quickly and efficiently.
Excellent tutorial with amazing photos. Many thanks.
That was a very interesting tutorial sir and appreciated too. Also, I will always remember to have a fully loaded battery. (very funny bit in your video). 👍
Excellent tutorial buddy and valued. Thank you. Subscribed too.
👍
….and very valuable advice given, “…practice in the daytime and arrive early.”
Love the explanation of your inspiration!
Interessante, volevo proprio cominciare con un ND. Che app usi per calcolare espo?grazie
I have an early 1960’s Rolleicord that my wife bought me for our wedding anniversary. The image in the viewfinder has so much depth and the image sharpness is amazing. Fantastic fun camera to use 👍🏼
About filters ! My father used to say : "cheap is always expensive" !
I am your fan and have watched almost all your videos. Although I currently use Sony’s A7r2 and A7r3, I am also a Nikon enthusiast. I have used D3400, D610, D750, D810, and started using Nikon Z7 in 2018. , overall, Nikon cameras are more suitable for shooting landscapes than Sony. I also think I should wait until the Nikon Z73, which may be equipped with a 61-megapixel sensor, is launched before upgrading.

This is utterly magnificent. I am overjoyed to see how easy it is!
Thanks, Attillio I am at this juncture, you have helped me a lot. 👏👏
Is the resulting image high resolution?
Grande Attilio gran bel video,fa venire una gran voglia di partire per l’Islanda 😉 dovrebbero pagarti per questo tuo lavoro curato nei minimi particolari…
Impressive! Rivals the work of Ansel Adams. I'm curious to see that final image in B&W using a red filter to darken the sky. Appreciation from BC, Canada
I had a 10 stop variable too. It worked by having two pieces of polarised material that rotated. It was rubbish, just gave a dark cross in the middle of the image.
No nodal slider?
Bellissime foto... Ma quindi alla fine poco conta avere un app che poi se ne stravolge il calcolo... Da 30 secondi a 2 minuti c'è un universo... Durante le mie foto onestamente ho ignorato completamente ogni calcolo e sono andato "a naso"... Bel mondo comunque.
Lovely video! Thank you. I watched it as I prepare for our trip to Iceland. One comment - the way you present your photographs, the slow zoom in, doesn't leave the viewer much time to appreciate the whole image. Maybe a 2-3 second still shot of the image?
I miss your videos Attilio! I hope you are doing well. Many thanks!!!
❤️
Attilio, please come back soon! We miss you 👍🏼
❤️
Beautiful work. Going to Iceland with my family next month. Will l need to bring a small lightweight tripod or will a monopod work? l need to travel as light and compact as possible.
Welcome Professor - hope you stay longer this time
Hello. With repect to the common long exposure of a cars tail lights creating a trail: What speed would be necessary to create this effect for an exposure of 1/48 [24 fps]?
Beautiful work, and a great representation of a wonderful country. 👏👏🍷🍷
Enjoyed your video thank you. One small tip to ensure you overlap each photo taken when you have the ND filter fitted, I do a dry run (without ND) and have thin masking tape fitted to my pan head and mark the starting point on a know stationary mark on the base of the head. Pan your camera to your next point and make a 2nd mark on the masking tape at the known stationary point then repeat for as many shots you will take. Fit the ND than after each shot has been taken you can move the camera to your next marked position until all photos have been taken. I find that this enables the least amount disturbing of your camera settings. Hope someone finds this a technique they can use. I may depend on whether your tripod head has room to fit masking tape. You could also take note on the degrees on the head markings between each stationary point.
Hi Attillio, it has been a long time since you posted a new video. Please bless us with new wisdom and creativity.
🙏
I miss his videos and hope he makes some soon.
I did get a 10 stop ND. I have done a few long exposures. I am never sure about my choices but in the long run, it has been ok if I get to make a shot and then make adjustments for the next try.
Still missing you Attilio!
Very good.
Thank you. You are a gifted photographer. Bella. Magnificent
I live/work/play in Yellowstone, i'm starting to get into photography, I need to experiment with filters, I have never used them before. Thanks for the video.
