    nice video. perhaps it has been said or you already know. Trailer lugs need frequent attention. I carry a torque wrench and check every 1000. usually find a couple not quite right.

    Thanks so much - always a good time in mammoth - you guys should go for sure. There are more civilized options for camping there than this was for sure - but we like remote. We have never had an issue thus far. We dont leave expensive things out when we leave just in case but no issues thus far. Safe travels to you guys and hope to see you in the fall!

    I ABSOLUTELY love convict lake. I’ve been going every year with my family for the past 10 years. The hiking trail around the lake is easy and beautiful. Nothing like an easy hike to start the day and then lounge around the lake fishing with a beer all day. Great video!

    Gorgeous views. When was this filmed ? Also any concern for snakes or spiders or anything like that ?

  • @bobanddangsjourney
    @bobanddangsjourney22 күн бұрын

    Thanks for the comment, really appreciate you doing that. For the snakes - I have not seen many up in the area where we were camping - that place is covered with snow for several months a year - not as much as mammoth but it still gets a good covering. They might be there but I've not encountered any. Where we go in our next video, which is down towards Bishop definitely has snakes. We encountered a little rattler in our prior video on Bishop I think. Came right up to the campsite once it started getting dark. They don't bother me too much but you have to be careful. In terms of when this was filmed, it was actually done in late September last year. We had the footage in the can so to speak, but didn't have a time to cut the episode until recently. Thanks again for watching and commenting!
