They host many famous flamenco dancers, guitarists and singers from Madrid and other parts of Spain. Although it is said that el flamenco was born in Andalucía, it is alive and well in Madrid! I have visited a workshop of a guitar maker on Calle Mayor who had a wait list of ten years for those who wished to purchased one of his instruments.
