Part of the damaged area has stood back up!! Going to lose a few leaves. Hang in there it’s definitely a marathon.

Yours are looking dece. Half my plant is laid over. Pollinating next week. Don't have huge expectations.

Love the shot! I have a son born that day. He is 41 now! I’m growing the 2404 Barron in Michigan, pollinated another today. I do a daily video about how it’s going in my tiny pumpkin patch with a giant pumpkin in it.

Nice job! Plant looks good. I’ve been documenting my journey as well. I had my main vine break on 2 of my pumpkins. Good luck. Hope you grow a monster.

Luckily they’re very resilient and will come back. The weather has been crazy here in Michigan, storms and a lot of wind has messed with my plants also.

Too much of something can shock a plant, to good of a growing situation can make the plant lazy and not reach out. I'm just learning about pumpkin growing, this will be my first real attempt, but I do work in the agricultural business and have a knowledge of plant science. It's very different I'm finding out but still similar in some of the biology

It's the same as transplanting a tree. You never want to give them ideal conditions in the hole you're planting them into. They become lazy and can possibly die because of it.
