I am ok on how it ended. It makes sense that he loses his powers. Like you explain OFA was the direct counter for AFO. The only thing that i was confused was if the Mecha outfit for Deku was just a super suit. Or it can applified his embers.

Ending is mid. Makes sense, but its the predictable ending every review channel was dreading because it’s incredibly underwhelming. It is, by every perspective, a fence-sitting ending because the author was afraid to piss people off. Which, imho, is clown behavior.

@@DrApplesauce I can respect people liking it. It’s not as if it’s the worst ending of all time or the worst ending that could’ve happened. It was an unproblematic ending for the series. To me, though, I’m not a person who enjoys that kind of ending as much as alternatives. If I were to find something objective to criticize, it would be the method of promise-and-payoff the story uses. The promise of Deku becoming the “greatest hero” was marinating for so long that the expectations of the audience went uncontrolled. It was brewing for so long that even the passive fans were worried it wouldn’t meet their expectations. So, to skip the rest stop between here and my point, the method of preempting the story with that kind of narrative promise was a bad choice if a neutral style of ending was the ending Horikoshi had planned from the get-go. To close this yap-fest off, In a nutshell, I think Horikoshi has a tendency to overpromise for the payoffs he deliverers. He does hype and character growth well, but it’s one skillset to write a story and another entirely to end a story.

Kind of hard to choose. I mean For Bleach: - Yoruichi sets a really hard to beat standard for sure, but there's also - Rangiku who's pretty close, - Neliel both as little adorable munchkin, and as badass warrior lady, - Harribel, - Rukia and - Orihime as popular options. For One Piece, I guess - Nico Robin - Boa Hancock - Nami whatever her full name is but as I didn't watch the show, I can't really rate them at all. For Naruto: - Sakura is the first one out. She's a big no no for this. We want best, not worst. - Ino Yamanaka is a solid option, great development during the war - Tenten had her own arc during the war, aquiring weapons that can seal a biju if need be. - Tsunade - Mei Terumi (Mizukage) - Karin - Kushina - Hinata. The best option in the series by far. - Sarada I guess? Technically Boruto is the continuation of Naruto, and she's a female Uchiha. Some might like Uchihas. All in all, I'd say Yoruichi is probably the best out of all these, but do let me know if I missed someone great that I should have included.
