Hello! I'm Kevon. I love pretty much all music, and I play a few instruments myself. I'm a producer, engineer, and songwriter. I have been doing work with The Recording Academy/GRAMMYs, and it has been a true blessing. I'm looking forward to sharing the joy of music with you.

This is one of the best videos I’ve seen showing Amazon Q Developer and what it can do. Amazing stuff!
@@ricardoasueiras Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it!
Beautiful! What a wonderful tribute.
Nice video
This is a great interview. What history.
Thanks for this walkthrough! The production quality is inspiring. Will definitely be giving Amazon Q a try this summer!
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed the video 🙌🏽

Thanks man! Appreciate the support 🙏🏾
Wow, great footage! Love the drone shots!! Looks beautiful.
Thank you! Really appreciate it 🙂

Nice video friend 🙏

Saudações, vim do vídeo do cara lá que testa o M4P.
We are doing this excursion in a couple of weeks
Nice! We had a lot of fun. Let me know if you need any other recommendations for things to do on the island. Enjoy!
@@KevonMayers this is the main reason. The train and the grounds.
Since he test it, he was killed.
Alive and well!
Which sensor does that?

It must be very exciting to be amongst such creative minds
Amazing
Love this interview!!
What a good lil boi
Is this in efforts to make it not only look like spot, but function like spot? Because spot is used for safety monitoring primarily. Using a variety of sensors. This seems to be on track. I love it! Keep it up!
I believe it just a safety feature. This might be inspired by spot (it likely is) but the development of bipedal robots with backward jointed legs existed before Bigdog (spots original form) even existed.
Just a simulation to show how you can easily connect to AWS IoT services and leverage them with robotics. Workshop will be at AWS re:Invent 2023 🙌🏽
Great video Kevon! Thanks for the quickstart code. I'm a CS student building a similar app with Terraform and AWS. Your guide has helped me a lot. Cheers!
No problem, glad it helped!
How do I reach Keith winslow I am a classmate
How did you connect it to your mac! Looking at thos model to use with my mac mini m1 but the screen has no usb c! But it has displayport
A HDMI or DisplayPort to USB-C adapter should work
Are you satisfied with the resolution?
@@thomasdietz579 yup! I have since gotten a larger LG monitor just for some extra screen real estate (40in) however it is substantially more expensive. This one I now have at another desk
I am trying to enroll into this workshop , but I need the 12 digit access code to enroll into the AWS workshop studio, can you please tell me the process to get the access code.
Hi there - if not at an AWS led event, you will need to follow the workshop in your own AWS account per the instructions
Hi Kevon, I finished your AWS workshop on Amplify web apps with Terraform and it was amazing! By far the most exhaustive (not exhausting!), detailed and fun workshop I have completed. You really succeeded in making it available, fun and cost-effective and I would like to thank you for that. I have been playing around & practicing my AWS, Terraform and GitLab skills this summer. Hopefully landing an internship next year. 🤞 Keep up the good work and thank you again!
Really glad to hear that it was helpful. Thanks for the kind words and all the best!
Good review my g. Just unboxed mine.. Is my first 34 inch 1440p monitor. The curved monitors I can’t really deal with. I swear by LG monitors
why you are not running the application directly form amplify ?
Hi Sargis - I'm assuming you mean Amplify hosting? This is because you need to connect a git provider (there are multiple you can use) and I wanted to keep this video shorter and focus on Terraform/Client libraries. However, I have created a detailed workshop and blog post that includes the hosting/git connection with deep explanation. If there's enough interest I can also make another video with more of a focus on that aspect. Here are the links to the blog and the workshop if you're interested: Blog: medium.com/@kevonmayers31/automating-deployment-of-aws-amplify-apps-with-terraform-4e25ae081d16 Workshop: catalog.workshops.aws/amplify-with-terraform
Hey @@KevonMayers , thanks for your reply! I have another question about this - i'm just curious only amplify front app is enough for connecting to cognito ? no amplify backend app for that?
@@user-dx7fm4tn5d Amplify is integrated with cognito for auth - this would be apart of your backend
cool, whats this for?
Theim that’s cool as fuck! wow man! I would love to do some cool shit with this absolute unit of a robo dog!!!
Bro is onto some shit
remind me when years later this video will be in every home page
Ok.
Boston dynamics wants to know your location
I WANT ONE !😊
Great job Keith Winslow!
Awesome, Mr Winslow!!!
Thanks for the video! Can you please explain/ point out how you connected Cognito to the react app? I have a react app and I'm trying to connect the user I created in Cognito to it for authentication.
Hi Sandra - Thanks for watching! Sure, if you look in App.jsx there's a method I'm using that is Amplify.configure() - and it's pointing to a file (amplify-config.js) that references the API, Auth, Storage etc. for the resources Terraform deployed. When using Amplify CLI it's a similar process except the file is titled awsExports and uses Cloudformation outputs referencing the resources you create with the CLI. For the components you want to use the cognito auth (or the entire app) you can wrap it all within the withAuthenticator or Authenticator components from Amplify. An example of this is at the bottom of App.jsx
@@KevonMayers Thanks for getting back to me. Not sure why it's not working. If you have some time to connect over a call/email would be great.
I've defined my values in amplify-config.js instead of importing it from outputs.json. But still couldn't get it to work.
I added the same value for identityPoolId and userPoolId though, not sure what the difference is or how to get identityPoolId. Only userPoolId is available in Cognito.
@@SandraGendy sure I have a bit of time, are you on LinkedIn? Feel free to connect there
Which one is better for logic pro? 34 ultrawide? Dual 27 inch qhd monitors? Or a single 4k 27 inch? Thanks for your video
Thanks for watching! I'd go with the 34in for logic - having a full view into the entire session timeline is nice and I never feel the need for two separate screens when producing. I just use a hotkey to pop up the mix window temporarily if I need (or use the single channel on the side for the selected track).
Great overview video! Will be taking a look at the repo.
Thanks!
So, I'm 51 years old. I play an entire plethora of instruments and genre's. I'm always reaching out for obscure and surprising musicians that just can. Well, I must admit, being a huge fan of Jon Gomm, we'll done!! It's amazing how the same song on different instruments bring out so many different nuances in a the same song. I will be listening to this a long time. Also look forward to other compilations you have. Amazing job!!
This is super cool, have you considered turning this into sheet music? I would pay for sheet music!
Thank you! If there's interest then yeah I could do that
That’s so funny when u said your best game is Rocket League! I’m also music producer and my best game is rocket league… that’s the moment I laughed hard 😅 Overall, great video! Thanks for help 🙌
Just gold overall!
Hands down the best!
