I used to be a winter caretaker on a cattle ranch in central Wyoming. I did the job alone and wouldn't see another person for weeks at a time. I really wish I would have had this music during that time, since it absolutely encapsulates everything I felt there. Walking the fences in the morning, wading through 2 feet of fresh powder. Shoveling the driveway with piles so high it was like a tunnel. Breaking ice at the headgates and watching the river fill the ditches with ice crystals. The sun coming out and glaring everything so brightly you'd go blind without glasses. The sound of your footsteps muffled in the thickness of the snow, like being in the vacuum of space. Feeding the animals in the evening when the sun is behind the mountain, purple sky, blue ground. Shutting the lights off and closing the gates at night and watching the snow come down in curtains in the moonlight in total silence... I left the job eventually, but think about some day doing something similar again - if I ever do, you can bet I'll remember to take this music with me... Thanks for capturing a mood.

I grew up with winters, so it always felt natural to me. For my significant other it's different. On the harsher days of February, life has largely withdrawn from the landscape, the snow acquires a mineral quality and the cold bites any uninsulated skin. Proper gear is needed for safety. She says it's the closest she'll ever get from walking on the moon. I feel the same now. At least to me, your music embodies well how winter can evoke distant worlds.

Excellent stuff here, we have an amazing synth here that somehow has very little information on how to use its deep functionality, you seem to know it well, I would love to know more about how to use the ARP and Sequencing capabilities as well as the mod matrix, if only there was a resource like a master class video or manual, thanks for your inspiration cheers, off to play a while which as you know is the best way with the Polybrute that we have.
