We are creating the ultimate online resource for forest school leaders.
We have brought together experienced nature mentors and forest school leaders and expert games pedagogues to create bite-size, step by step how-to videos of games, crafts, skills progressions and seasonal activities to do in nature.
Not only will you learn how to facilitate these, but we’ve also provided downloadable resources to save you precious time such as template risk assessments and kit lists.
By joining our community and becoming a member of Red Squirrel Resources, over the next three months you’ll get our introductory content and then after this you’ll have access to the whole, fast-growing library we’re creating.

Good demo of how to get the job done..😀
Wow , it looks so tasty ❤, & being with beautiful nature is so precious!! New friend!
I am learning the song at school
I have found that once you know a collard dove says “coll-ard dove, coll-ard dove” a wood pigeon says “I’m a wood pigeon,I’m a wood pigeon” and a feral pigeon says “who? Who?” you can’t help but say it in your head when you hear one or the other lol
Yes! Having words to fit their rhythms does help it stay in your head. I also have: 'I don't know, I don't know' for the dove and for wood pigeon: 'I real-ly don't know, I real-ly don't know'. I can't help but hear that now...
Easy for children to learn. Hell darlin', this adult too. lmao!!
Very nice girl
yaaa nice! ..do you have a knot on how you string up a squirrel when it raids your house... ahah...peaceout ,,🙏🏻

British English difficult to understand.
😂, She does sound rather ‘proper’ but her English pronunciation is impeccable. It’s a pity you couldn’t hear my, British English. You wouldn’t understand a syllable. 😂👍🏴🇬🇧
Thanks verygood

Arbor Knot..... rules them all...
Semoga anda sehat selalu...sangat membantu
Very excellent and beautifully done video. Love how you teach, very methodically done as well as the background scenery.
Beautiful harmonies. Thanks so much for sharing ❤
you are a good teacher, keep making videos!
Nicely made video, thank you.
Hey , lady this tree still needs to breath .
hopefully you know this is temporary ;-) and we took it down straight after the making of this video! We don't leave ropes up for more than a few days... You might like our video on tree health assessment for rope swings though: kzread.info/dash/bejne/nYGqxryCqsvIhqw.html

The horse hoof fungus (conk mushroom) that grows on birch is greatly helping my multiple auto-immune disorder symptoms. I make tea from it. Make sure you pick fresh ones only. Mine were white...the black ones i found were too old. Boil cut up mushroom for 20 mins and pour your cup. You can and should reuse your horse hoof fungus mushroom by reboiling it for another 20 mins and continue to do so untin the water turns clear. I do many boils from just one mushroom and i store my reserves in a Mason jar in the fridge. This conk fungus has about 100 benefits and boosts immune system. Never take all of the mushrooms you find from one colony so that animals can benefit from them and also so that they can continue to grow. Rule of thumb is to never take more than a 1/3 of a colony of any one mushroom or plant. I also love drinking birch bark or birch twig tea for pain. Both are helping my pains.
Beautiful and insightful video. I loved all the fantastic information about all aspects of this wonderful tree and associated fungus etc. I would love to see similar videos on other tree species. Many thanks!
Wonderful, thanks very much. I will return here.
I live a mile from a Great Lake. My property has very sandy soil. Yellow and Paper Birch are in abundance with roots that look like the legs of a spider. Something that you don’t normally see in most of Michigan.
Thanks for sharing that - great image you’ve conjured in me of the spider leg roots!
Love it; great video. Birch are my favorite tree. It’s fungal companions are central to my health strategy. May birch forests abound!
May it be so!

I don't see the nettle song in the Imbolc section of the book.
Ah yes - I believe this song came to Anna after the book was published but she felt it went with the Imbolc section... If you're interested in nettles you might like this video on them by Anna too: kzread.info/dash/bejne/p3yaqq6ll6bOdqg.html
This game sounds great! And well explained. Thank you! Your location looks incredible too!
Thanks! Glad you found it accessible - it is a favourite among our groups! We are very blessed with our access to natural spaces.
