I have seen Genki behind the scenes doing whatever in the racing world for a few years, the stickers were here and there, official or not, its never faded, and Genki are a based game developer, effectively they make games for their own niche and they are happy, it would not surprise me if they have had something big cooking and will just stealth drop it and run, quite typical of them. Realistically, im expecting they are going through their back catalogue, from memory i remember a doc (or maybe a magazine idk these days) where it was said they archive all their game related stuff, and im sure they see the only place highway racing is done is either AC mods or old TXR games, as we just hope that night runners gives the fix, yet night runners is a different game in its own right, similar formula, but built on the memories of this niche. And lets not forget, they did other games, Jade cocoon, Bhrama force, S.L.A.I, all worthy of coming back. As for how things are revived, I dunno how deep they are into things i expect a basic port, but thats good as then its playable on steamdeck. anything more? I feel they are smart enough to just release a TXR game using the Shutokō Battle extreme assets to a modern quality as a full game with TXR3 style of play and just seeing how it fairs before a big commitment. The main sites put Throwback entertainment on the list, so they are involved somehow, so its likely old game related, its probably a mix of them wanting to get in on the market again and have a bigger audience though i guess.

Ah, the good old times of TXR. In ZERO there's an Abflug R34 against Dreamy Ghost Yellow NSX, TXR 3 being the Ridox Supra, WEST Corvette, MCR R34, and other iconic cars that are my beloved (also for some reason, in TXR 0, in the intro, dreamy ghost does not have a rear spoiler, while in game, he has the rear spoiler on. I guess to get more downforce? Eh, probably, but it's cool detail)

maybe im just late to the game but im also on PS5 and I have 3 times the amount of settings you do, I've got direct modes, max lock, counter steering sensitivity. all sorts of stuff your game doesn't seem to have.

You probably wont' see Remsasters of their old titles, it's too expensive to really do. Not sure if they have the code leftover to really reuse all that stuff to begin with. I'm sure this project was years in the making as Genki back in 2013-2017 wanted to make a console like game, but couldn't so they went with the mobile market as games were selling like hotcakes there. It was probably what they had in mind back then. With the Steam account and trademakrings it does seem to be preparing for at least something at the end of the year or next year. Time can only really tell when that'll come. As a Genki TXR game researcher that has been researching these games for a while and (improving upon them) I wouldn't mind a new one to dig my teeth into. Those are at least my predictions at least but Genki's been a very quiet company when it comes to how they develop games so not much can really be said.

We have a few larges, I'll have to get her to see if she can figure it out. The trick for this one was that the branch we put the chair under stuck inside the house model a bit and allowed the character to be pushed up through it when you jump.

I see you with the TXR3 OST. 😏 This is huge! Looks like my favorite devs will be back with a new game! I really hope it’s not a mobile game. PS: had no idea they crossed over with drift spirits. It’s been out for several years played it but got tired of the FTP/P2W stuff. They did release an American version but didn’t last nearly as long. The Shutokou mobile game was garbage too. One of those racing games where you don’t even drive the car and have timed button presses. Drift spirits was like that too even though it had awesome crossovers. D1, Initial D, Wangan Midnight, etc.

How's gt7 going bro? I just took a delta integrale and put the dett gtr engine in it. Over 1000 break. Doing 230+ on le man straights with chicanes and just clocked 3:38 lap with mistakes lol
