how come yours set look perfect, received mine new and they all have light scratches. The bigger wrenches open end have like line/scratches or pits in the open end 😒.

You can just come out and say Snap On. Stop beating around the bush lol. Anyways, you are grossly incorrect regarding them being flashy and not about quality. I can tell you aren’t a technician with some of the comments. You need to tour a few of Snap On’s plants and your “opinion” would change. Yeah Wright makes badass industrial tools. I happen to own some. The fact is some of their stuff, namely the impacts are made beefier for industrial equipment where size is of zero consequence. Sure you can use some of those on cars but you absolutely cannot say Wright impacts are analogous to Snap On or many automotive specific brands. I recall you talking about this, however you kept on about value and quality and danced around the elephant in the room “snap on”. Apples and oranges dude. Nobody will argue the quality for money spent. Hell I own Wright Grip2.0 wrenches and they are about the best made. But certain sockets need automative broaching and super thin walls vs industrial shit you use to work on the old John Deere tractor or CAT excavator.

I like Wright wrenches but when shopping for a flex head ratchet I didn't like the Wrights. I paid 150 around the time this was made and bought a Snap On long handle flex head. Worth every penny

Finally have my set on the way. Waited 6 months. But from the reviews and testing video these best out good old snap on. Albeit the Snap on’s are a little longer. And the price difference will break your pocket. 😁

My Dad had the same Wright round head ratchet, about a 7” handle with what looked like a piece of heater hose over the grip. Always clicked positive and never changed direction when you palmed it, it just fucking worked. We didn’t get carried away with tooth count back then and when we needed something bigger or smaller we reached for the correct drive size. I’m also a huge fan of the Snow Shoe head Proto ratchets, 24 teeth but smooth as glass and close to zero backdrag.

Screwdrivers are one of those tools in which there are literally thousands to choose from but it's weirdly not easy to find one that feels comfortable. Idk if that's just me, or what.

Hey just wanted to say i think this was a really great video and well worth it. Thank you so much.. i am in the market for purchase and was just wondering any updates? Any additional pros or cons regarding this unit? For me, I was looking at this unit, and the HF Fortress 27gal high performance, and the HF Fortress 26 ultra quiet version for comparisons. I see that the HF 27gal is in the upwards of 459.00 in my area, the HF 26gal is 299.99, and right now the Kobalt is 339.00. In addition though, the kobalt by default has a 3yr warranty where as the HF has 90 days before spending extra on extended warranty. As for my usage. Im looking to do some paint spraying HLVP for some woodworking. My husky gun advises 27gal minimum 4.5 SCFM at 90psi. Whats your opinion on compressor ? And do you have a link for that air filtration M30 ? All advise is greatly appreciated.

*Construction seemed sturdier than other units I considered **MyBest.Tools** Noise level was reasonable. Good pressure and cfm capacity for a small reasonably light compressor.*

Its $379 at lowes. I bought mine for $240 from a friend who had only used it twice so its basically brand new. Still had the plastic cover it came with out of the box.
