I play a lot of strategy games, especially 4X games in the style of Civilization or Amplitude's Endless series, but I also play a lot of other interesting stuff. Edit: Spoiler warning for this video, though not for the game :) The killer searched every room except for the boardroom where Maurice was originally hiding. Clearly Forrest Nash is a better radio host than a listener :D Interested to see where this game is gonna go with that and whether the death will have an impact on the story beyond an "oh, oops" during the epilogue.

11:56 she now is part of the viewer. After we watched the clips, we become cognizent of the internal drive. The 2 of us song is like the internal strife between the person we present vs our own desires. To a point the main actress could no longer handle the sexualization. She meant to kill Carl otherwise there wouldnt have been a real bullet. She was sick of the direction of the film and how she lacked control. Killing him was for her to regain control. In the third movie, i think she comesback in hopes she had misjudgements and/or maybe gender roles might have evolved since the previous film. But she was wrong, she sees how getting rid of "one of the problems" wont address a bigger societal issue that she will always be the trapped muse. And to escape that fate is to leave this plane of existence which I think is her setting herself on fire. The gender component could be the dream that gender roles werent such a dominant thing. You did mention this at 23:55. However it's impossible to escape. It's ingrained in society socially and biologically. This is what the blonde lady realizes. The internal desires are immortal as so are the ideas of society, even when we are gone, because these will be passed onto the next generation. Which is why she transfers to the viewer. This is all just my interpretation. Thank you for the playthrough and seeing things through. I do believe the blonde lady is not a spirit that possesses people. Otherwise there wouldnt be such a large duality between their actions, and the lady would have had more control over marrissa to avoid certain situations.
Wow it's interesting how she's is lip syncing instead of singing at 53:12. Then eventually stops to ponder. Idk exactly what it means, but I assume that she wont understand what it feels to be like the free bird. That could be why its not her singing because these aren't lyrics she can speak from experience or understanding. But she envies the lyrics which is why she mimes them. She deeply dreams she can be liberated from stigma. The fact that it layers the song two of everything could show she wanted a totally different direction for the film and her life entirely. Which explains why she left.
Repeatedly playing the exact same one song over and over, while introducing it with stuff like "This is is one of my favourites" and "I hope you enjoy this next song as much as I do" every time, your version of Forrest Nash is definitely on the spectrum

I've seen a few playthroughs of this, and I'm surprised at how everyone questions the station being 911 backup. It's after midnight in a tiny town and you need someone who can confidently work a multiline phone system who was at their desk five minutes ago. Who else would you call? Honestly, from how Leslie already had things routed, I would bet the station owner had signed a contract that the station would always have a live DJ for exactly that reason. The owner just forgot or neglected to let Nash know because what are the odds?
Fuck dem kids indeed. But hey, at least the bubbly fitness lady got outta there OK.

I believe the "overtaking" of marissa is when she started having a mental disputes with her character. Not wanting to partake in certain scenes. She seemed more bubbly and engaged in minsky as she initial believed she had more equal footing with creativity of character now that she is working durkin. However this is false and we still see her disdain for such scenes. Not because shes against sexualization entirely, hence why she is playful even off camera, but because she notices the same pattern of this being forced onto her. It stunts her agency. One thing she can control is her performance, so she funnels her energy into playing the similar roles. This coupled with the repeatition and mental supression of her desires causes the spiral. The last movie she was in was a breakdown not just for the character but also marissa. No matter how famous and successful she gets, she never seems to get the freedom she wants in the film. We can even see how her understanding of the characters are equivalent to durkin but he shrugs off her input that rivals his vision. He see her as muse, coincidentally like minsky. Its interesting how they made both blondes look very similar to sort of protray internal desires. It gives the characters coming off as metaphorical rather than supernatural beings
You can really see how drained she gets over the films and durick being more controlling over even the tiniest details like the cucumbers sliding off. It's as though they both believed they had chemistry after ambrosia however there was a growing disconnect. The chemistry was an illusion created by the initial director hence the utilization of the word "drilling" to force a relationship. Durick wanted to use her as a muse but she wanted an input in the films. The conflict between them represented by the blonde ppl fighting. Also in terms of romance, it seems she likes durick but its not reciprocated. Besides the evidence of an artifical relationship in the first movie. He grumbled at the fact of needing to play minsky but she was enthusiastic.
Its seems like the 2nd lady does want to be in pictures but not constrained by the vision of the director. Marissa was upset when she was aquitted for a crime just because she is someone desirable. Assuming that she did kill John could be symbolic of her breaking free of the director's control over her. Marissa wants agency to also control how the film is directed and how she is protrayed. This could be why the last film where she is a industry pop star is the final trigger for her. The apple and snake metaphor drives home that the blonde people are the "internal desires". The bloody nose starts after she sees the dress which could be trauma for her being objectified again. Marissa struggles to handle the trauma.

I assume the 2nd girl is like the ID (internal desires). A lot of times we see her, she comes off as cathartic. This might be why we see more of her through the subsequent films bc there seems to be a mental dissonance between marissa and the ID. Marissa is trying to mantain control and composure. The ID might explain why she says as humanity increases her numbers dwindle because morals spread and how crucifixion hurts because she is sin. Im trying to stray away from supernatural explainations as this can lead to a rabbit hole. And i know the developer leans to more realism and logical explainations.
I know this is a year old. But I'm writing this just as an archival theory. I do agree with 2nd lady is a projection of Marissa which is why the director was missing 49:10. She doesn't want him there. She seems to increasingly loathe him the more she gets put into roles where she's being objectified. I think the director has fallen in love with the version of Marissa from the 1st film. Hence why she's playing similar roles when he becomes the director. He wants to immortalize this ideology of her which encapsulates the film aspect. They might have parted ways understanding this wasn't healthy for either of them.

The arrow codes entered in this episode were completed by discovering the individual arrow displays. I guess that in some previous iteration you had to reconstruct the sequences on your own, but eventually a secondary display was placed by the input blocks to collate the individual arrows automatically. This is obviously confusing and the art should have been fully redone, but here we are.

To add in a second Civ game, you could either play at a higher game speed just to show off a different civ / victory, or play a game of Civ 5, to show how the game itself has changed over time. Whether either of those is worthwhile.... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
