Hi! I'm Angelina, your average mediocre skier from Colorado. Learning as an adult three years ago, I wear this label with pride and hope to inspire skiers of all levels. You won't find any fancy moves or pro-level skiing here-just my honest experience navigating the slopes and enjoying the mountains.
On this channel, I share my journey of learning this wonderful sport and embracing the ups and downs that come with it, from ski trip vlogs and gear reviews to tips navigating Colorado's mountains and conquering a variety of technical trails.
Subscribe if that sounds good to you and let's go skiing :)

How does the ticketing work during summer? Is your pass still good? If not how much does this cost?
If Arapahoe Basin Ski Area stocked pile snow like 60 feet high towards the bottom of that chairlift and just use it towards the end of the season they could have season to July even August.
"No place to stop", what??? You had plenty room to stop. Going through those rutted turns is a piece of cake.Hey if this person has had this inflammatory pain behind his knees that I wished I had my legs amputated before God created the universe can still ski down this slope 3 times faster than you, so why can't you? A 5 year old kid went skiing down Corbet's Couloir there at Jackson Hole Ski Resort, Wyoming one of most extreme skiing runs in all of North America so why were you scared???
Shut up
next time ur at alta lmk! will show ya around
I was there the end of May, and it was great. I was extremely disappointed in Breck and Vail closing so early when there was plenty of snow. I may have to change to Ikon unless they get with it.
practice pivot slips! you're looking to make more curvy turns than z shaped, will also help you with the wiggle, riding up higher on the walls and avoiding the trough
sick action shots! this looks so fun❤
This is crazy how late the season is going!! I have so much FOMO!! Cant wait till next season so we can shred!
Yesss!! Excited to shred with you again next season!
good first time in a long time skiing 🎿 is straight up, fun 😊.. yes, we centennial state spring skiers do the 🎉🍺🌽🍹🥃🫗🍄😁🥰 late hedonistic thrill.
Haha yeah so I’ve seen
Still a beginner so my season ended in early April once Breck closes peak 8.
They closed way too early this season!
The terrain is unrecognizable
Yeah pretty melted but still good!
Looks safer than opening day at Keystone.
I ski keystone a lot early season and this was definitely more dangerous. Keystone does a good job opening wide runs that are long. There also isn’t as much of a party scene in the early season compared to late.
@@angelinaoutsidecan't expect the "epic" experience of a corporate mountain, when none of them care to give you skiing this late. a-basin not being a party the last weekend, would be sad for ski culture. sticking to vail resorts on weekdays will satisfy your personal preferences more but you have to pay the higher price for that shorter season. give and take
Nice conditions! fun!
It was surprisingly good! Didn’t get stuck at all
I enjoy your videos. Keep up the great work!
Thank you!!
Great aerial views. So glad you got to ski in freaking mid JUNE!
I know! It’s wild
I LOVE Three Ply and Square Deal !!!! Glad you did that one. Plant those poles and turn baby !! Moguls Moguls Moguls. F*@k groomers
Great video! I am planning to go there, too. What about queus? Are the ski stations crowded? Do you have to wait long to get to gondolas or chair lifts?
Didn’t have to wait long for the most part. Just a few minutes. There was just once when the gondola line was really long but I think it was because most other lifts were closed
My home mountain! Mill Valley is great on a powder day; but it gets crusty real fast thanks to all the sun exposure, which it sounds like you found out. Hitting the runs off Tye Mill and into Tye Bowl is fun when Mill Valley’s not skiing great
Thanks for posting your Park City experience! You’re not mediocre. I’d call you a decent intermediate.
How do you like snobahn?
#1 don’t worry about the stupid park. Stick to the moguls. Give yourself plenty of tree skiing. Start in not so steep tree runs. You’ll find yourself practicing different techniques just by nature and your natural ability. Take it back to moguls. Be able to take a mogul in any position. Planting pole in middle, ski behind it, in front of it. Plant poles in front, turn based on where poles are out in front. Then try quicker turns with poles in back of skis in real steep areas. Then go back to trees in steeper areas. I’m just throw in this stuff out in th case you haven’t tried certain things. I respect the hell out of your humility and skill. So many know it alls on the slopes. So many hams who only do groomed runs. Hope I see you on the hill someday in Utah, Tahoe, or Colorado.
beginner looking for gear here... feel very vindicated after watching this video! I splurged on a $170 spherical mips helmet this weekend, but didn't splurge on the $140 bibs. gonna check out the bibs now, thanks! hitting loveland on 4/20 for one last day!
Just get a pair of Nordica hf for ladies…..sorted, no orthotics 👍🚀
Are you sure this is correct? Ive heard from many people that imperial is something you should stay away from unless you're an experienced skier or rider, so that you dont fall and take others down with you. Although the ridge might be easy to ski, theres no real reason to go up here if you aren't an advanced or an expert, especially when you could take out someone else if you fall.
Double black is still double black, so it's not exactly an "easy run" that anyone should just go try. That said, Imperial Bowl is definitely on the easier side and would be a single black in a lot of other places imo, and I think it's a great starting point if someone is looking to do their first double black.
Did you ever post an update on this issue? Did they get the boot to fit properly, or did you wind up getting something else?
Thanks for sharing! Your video and honest review inspired our group to tackle 94 Turns together. We have varying degrees of ability and confidence but all found your video extremely helpful. Thanks for making amazing videos and have fun out there! Keep the shred alive. -The A-Team, A Stoked Group of Average Skiers from Pennsylvania
Don’t get so frustrated by data from your smart insoles! The objective of skiing is just having fun! 😊
Besides, the areas you were skiing weren’t ideal for carving
Girl you’re killing it!! Even on the not great days, your videos are amazing!
I know how to fix you skiing. Use a snowboard and avoid moguls
We’re glad you did choose to record!
Spend a day demoing several different types of skis. For $100 or less, you can demo several skis during the day. There may be a better ski out there for you to progress. Ski with titanal or without, wider vs. narrow, playful vs. more stiff, etc. Different skis can yield different results.
I try to do at least one every season!
Work on your left transition. Little short.
I can see why the constant assessment on an app like Carve can drain your enjoyment. Remember to take runs for you as well. We do this for fun!
For real
Yeah it’s the worst when you get down a technical run and then proceed to get a really terrible score 😄
You skied those bumps with a nice rhythm and good body position facing down the fall line. The bumps on Bell are notorious and you handled them with finesse. Nice skiing!
Thank you! Luckily the snow on the ridge was really good!
“Controlled falling” famous last words
Haha
You rocked that!! that run is no joke!!
We just got back from Beaver Creek & Vail. The weather was absolutely beautiful. All bluebird and good temps except for a powder day mid-week. Skied Dragon's Teeth in China Bowl into Poppyfields. Loved Blue Sky Basin. Grilled a couple steaks at Belle's Camp, and then ripped In the Wuides & the glade drop-ins off of Cloud 9. Had a blast!
Sounds like an awesome day! I just recently went to blue sky for the first time and loved it!
Oooo I think I’m heading here on Wednesday
There’s some snow in the forecast coming up, should be great!
Great video of your experience and I hope you finally found the boots that fit your feet. It's not you, it's the BOOTS! I went through the same journey and I worked with my local ski shop technician to find the right boot for my feet (#TecnicaCochise). I hope you returned them and found a better shop to work with! Btw, are your goggles cracked?
🏃 *Promo SM*
Can you please do a review on you Black Crows?
Would be interesting if you did a video on the top runs to learn moguls across different resorts. I’m always looking for mild, shallow mogul runs to learn.
Currently, I guess I would be considered an advanced skier, but when I was younger, I was probably more of an expert skier, all self-taught. Would learn by reading ski magazines (no internet back then) and following ski patrollers to watch their technique. Started off with lace-up ski boots and long narrow skis. With these, I could do moguls and deep powder, which gave me the confidence that I could ski on any ski. However, now that I am 70, I would probably have to say that my level has gone down a notch or two. No longer doing much out-of-boundary skiing, although tempted if there is untracked powder. No longer going down chutes, feeling my mortality. Aah, the good old days! 😊
I love your channel Angelina!!! ❤❤
must be fun
Being a north american, i never nervous about any public transportation in Asia or Europe 😂😂😂
Loveland is so underrated. It's especially great in the spring, where the different exposures let you follow the sun to keep getting the just softening snow. And the isolated feeling on chair 8 is amazing, especially given where the ski area is located.
Shhhh 🤫
i will be there tomorrow <3. do you have a pass there? I am thinking of getting a pass there tomorrow. should cover me for 2-3 multiday trips before the season ends. Everything else is out of reach for me atm.
I do! We sneak up during the week sometimes and I like it there a lot in the spring.
@@angelinaoutside any particular runs that you recommend. I saw you do moguls left of chets in a previous video. I am too scared of them but your video gave me some confidence :D . Btw, you have a big leg up on all other ski youtubers because you label your runs. good work!
@@scarface548 Thank you! I was there yesterday and some of the higher bowls were pretty wind blown. You can start with the blue moguls off of chet's dream. Excelleration and Nix Nox are the harder ones. I also really like the terrain off of Chair 8. It's all very wide open and you can often find powder stashes there days after new snow. Just make sure to take Zippity Split back instead of The Face (imo very unpleasant).
WOW the views 😍
I know right!
