David Ruffins vocals where amazing. But he wouldn't have succeeded if it wasn't for the other members of the group. If you listen to the albums, With o lot of soul and Wish it would rain, you can really hear the groups vocal harmonies. Just fantastic. I know David had a few hits, such as, everything is coming up love and walk away from love, but just like Phillip Wynne of the Spinners and the original lead singer of the Dramatics, its the originality of the group that makes them famous. The sad loss of David Ruffin to drugs and Paul Williams suicide, truly tragic.

Reminds me of my mum and dad’s parties when I was a kid early 70s was what I remembered the most what my parents had played on their record player temptations Marvin Gaye Gladys knight Diana Ross and the supremes etc etc as I got older it shaped my disco and soul funk clubbing days also saw the temptations at the Hammersmith odeon late 80s and also last year saw the story of the temptations at the Prince Charles theatre 🎭 London absolutely amazing !!! Love Motown music 🎶 will always live with me forever may all the temptations rest in peace along with the other great artists that have passed away gone but never forgotten 🙏🙏🙏🏴🇺🇸🏴🇺🇸

David has such a amazing voice its sad and Eddie and Paul was so underrated and unappreciated its sad how they all had their challenges but they was the greatest voices and groups of all times David had his signature moves and sang so great they didn't use auto tunes it was their original great voices Rip to a legend his voice was so strong when needed to be and soft when it also needed to be he had some great songs
