    You need to be on a gold wind bro. I think that package for your frame would be better. I rode a 24 the other day. I tried to find the blow job button. Very nice bike. If I was your size I would go with that. Would love to see you in a goldwing. Your content, especially the mods part. Very very few show the frustration. Don't give up on the KZread channel. Maybe just a bike that fits your frame.

    I've been debating a few different bikes. The Harley Road Glide/Street Glide are nicely sized for guys like us and the new 24 model years are nice, but expensive. I've looked at the Triumph Rocket 3 gt and it's a good size but still expensive. Also looked at the Ducati Diavel v4 and it's in the same boat. Right size but expensive. BMW k1600 looks to be a good size too though i haven't been able to ride one. Same with the R18.

    I see you have the brackets on your sporks for a wind fairing. Prob one of the Memphis shade variants? Looks just like my brackets. Can you still use it with this riser install? I know Rox says on the website that you may not be able to use an aftermarket fairing or windscreen.

  • @sinnarides
    @sinnaridesАй бұрын

    This was my first bike too and I had only ridden in an msf course as well. I think as long as you take it easy until you're used to the bike it's fine as a first bike. I kept mine in rain mode for the first 600 miles or so and just tried to not be crazy with it.

    Well crap!!!! The whole reason why I was getting fwd controls was because the mid controls caused by legs to bow out. The wind would push my legs outward, killing me hips!! Let me know know your results after taking them off My red dragons should be in next week, now I'm concerned.

  • @sinnarides
    @sinnaridesАй бұрын

    I think the Red Dragons will be better than these ones. They were super chonky and pushed the footrest out by almost an inch and a half. The ones you got are a lot slimmer, so should be able to stay tucked in closer to the tank better.

    This bike has DCT, you will sell it to return back to manuals? No way...just replace- improve all things that you don't feel well...like other Rebel riders If you buy Harleys get ready to pay a lot for to buy it , maintenance & to fix all these upgrades thats needs.. Your bike has low cost, maintenance, drives ,well turns nice... Change pegs...there are front pegs better from T-Rex...put risers ...windshield. Adjust the bike at Sport Mode for better driving in the road. You will be fine.

    I'm thinking out loud. You get in a car, you can adjust the wheel position, move the seat back, up, or down, adjust the mirrors. You're ready to drive across country... I love this bike. But I would like to see the person this bike was built for, I think they would look freaky. Imagining someone with long arms, short legs, and a small upper body, weighing in at about 150 lbs. I guess the secret sauce is that because it fits nobody, there is some part of it that will fit everybody. Then the buyer says to themselves, I like this part of it and I could change the rest of it.

    It seems like a small bike for your size... you probably need something a lot bigger. I keep looking for something else right now, but can't find anything I like much to replace it, but I fit on mine very well since I am much much smaller than you. I've done many many miles and long multi-day trips on my 2021, and even I get sore on it too fast and hate the tiny gas tank. No matter if they threw a "T" on the model and saddle bags, its still just not a good touring bike... especially with a chain too. I'm trying to find something that is bigger, but not a behemoth, with low maintenance. No one really makes anything that works for me though... waiting for that right bike to show up
