We will find out! I have had 3 shoulder surgery’s and my Bowtech solution 59lb and my Bowtech carbon one 69lb same 446 grain Easton 6.5 match grade with Deadmeat and SeVr 1.5 are 15 fps difference! I plan on shooting the Solution with the Carbon one as a backup? 60 yards max range! 29.5 inch draw?

Won't you also hit to the left or right of the aim point? For shooting at a single distance, if you hit 5 inches high and 5 inches to the right, wouldn't this just mean that you aim 5 inches low and to the left?

I have the lift 33 and mainly got it for 3d and Western hunting. I have an elite omnia that I love for whitetail. Anyway... Do you like the Matthews stabs? I got aae mountain series and saved a lot of money and I feel like they're better stabs. I just can't see spending $500-$600 for stabs when there seems to be better stuff out there for a lot cheaper.

I swapped over from 85% to 80% on my V3. Didn’t like the feel of the valley with the 85%. The draw is much smoother and I have a more controlled let down if needed.

Do you have any recommendations on index finger releases? I currently have a Scott Wildcat that is reaching end of life and having a hard time deciding what to go with next (spot hogg tuff guy, Truball beast, b3 hawk, etc)

  • @MickyMouseLimited

The reduction in let of is done because it really improves accuracy not because of any speed benefits. It is especially obvious if you are shooting at 50 or more yards. The extra weight acts as a stabilizer and makes more shot a lot more easier to hold on target. I have even moved my module 1/2 more in order to reduce the let off to close to 50 % . This was not a fun experience because there was no valley at all. The shots were accurate but I was not able to hold it long enough to aim properly. I would say at least for me around 70 % is the sweet spot I can shoot all day my bow and aim well and have good amount of hold weight to keep the bow stable. Everyone should try this it can be a free improvement of accuracy .

I set my enkore to 75% let off yesterday. Keeps me in my shot and my form tight. Used to shoot 80% that 5% is a huge difference. Really liking it so far. I also hate that hump and dump on higher let off mods.

I dont understand this obsession with the 80lb bows. If you shoot one enough to stay good you will destroy your sholder for 15 fps. Why???
