The different videos I have posted have been very inconsistent and have mostly been for my own enjoyment through different hobbies and interests I have. Life in general has kept me busy, more or less from posting more videos .
I'm done dreaming and find my self nearing an end of a road with no place to go. Going foward will be difficult for me, but I am filled with endless possibilities, because sometimes, I just need to feel alive again.
I'm hoping near the end of 2022 or in 2023 I will be in place of wonderment again and post other videos of interest.

Thanks - glad to hear you like the song. This song is from a private experimental "studio" project I am part of: "Closet Works Studio". This song was put together by me. We experiment with different types of music and most of the music that is written is kept private . Some music is opened so it can be licensed by other performing artists to use for their live performances and or to be released in their recordings for their singles, EPs, or Albums. so is it better than the Sony PCM-D100 and replacing it?
Depends on what you are recording. If you record normal to loud audio, and know the benifets of recording in 32bit float, than yes. If you record very low ambient audio, than No, its not better than the Sony PCM D100. The Pre-amps on the Tascam is just noiser than the Sony and can be heard in very low to low audio recordings. On top of that the Tascam Internal Mics are cheap and crap. They record decent audio, but are stupid sensative to wind so light that if someone farts 20 feet away you'll likely clip, but worse than that it over loads the tascam and you will get breaks in your audio file where there will be half a second of area where their is no audio recorded - 32bit float doesn't help here. And lastly, the Mics stick out so far there are no real good wind protection that fit nicely around them to keep out the wind. AND IF THAT WASN'T enough, the mics are 100% plastic and break easily as mine did and Tascam offers NO REPLACEMENTS MICs!!!! This was true as of June 2022. I've sent my Tascam back to their authorized repair center over a month ago and am still waiting. Short answer, Stay away from the Tascam at it's current Price. If it were $325, maybe. If you only use the XLRs, than perhaps even YA, - but at that price why not get the Zoom F3, 32bit float, cheaper ,and more rugged . Just do all your editing in post. If you already own a Sony PCM D100, keep the Sony and wait for a better portable 32bit Float recorder with a good pre-amp and better on-board mics to come to market.
¿Te han hablado del capítulo oculto de The IT Crowd? Se conoce muy poco sobre el. Apenas se saben once datos sobre el capítulo y son los siguentes: 1. Su título es Zero y es el primer capitulo de la serie. No está estrenado. 2. Tiene una duración de 40 minutos. 3. Jen no aparece en dicho capítulo, pero, Denholm Reynholm menciona que esta deseando contratar a alguien para el puesto de jefa del departamento de informática con ese nombre. Dice que es un nombre que le gusta mucho y que cree que una persona con ese nombre hará grande al departamento de informática, ya que unirá al departamento como un equipo fuerte e indestructible. Esta mención ocurre en una escena que tiene lugar en el ascensor. En ella están, el cartero que le lleva a Moss el paquete que le llega de Amazon en el primer capitulo, conocido a día de hoy como Mermelada de ayer, el asesor cultural de la empresa llamado Paul, Elisa la telefonista número 2 del departamento de atención al cliente y el propio Denholm Reynholm. Al parecer se quedan atrapados en el ascensor durante gran parte del capítulo. Están atascados entre la planta 3 y 4. Elisa no deja de decir su nombre y su cargo en la empresa a cada ocasión que puede. El cartero no habla en todas sus apariciones. 4. Los bomberos rescatan a los encerrados en el ascensor. Roy se queda encerrado el solo en otro ascensor entre la planta 23 y 24. Roy no es rescatado hasta el día siguente. Decide tomar una siesta. Se queda dormido profundamente y ello le hace no poder pedir ayuda. El rescate ocurre gracias a una llamada de Moss al servicio de emergencias. 5. Este capítulo ocurre únicamente en medio día, concretamente el 13 de febrero. Se hace saber en varios momentos que al día siguiente es el día de los enamorados. 6. No deja de llover en todo el capítulo. Se aprecia en tres escenas. Escena uno: Roy en un parque comiendo un bocadillo. Debe de salir corriendo para resguardarse de la lluvia. Escena dos: Poco después, Roy entra a un portal para resguardarse de la lluvia. Una señora mayor y una niña le sacan a golpes, creen que es un ladrón. Escena tres: Más tarde vemos a Roy llegando a la empresa calado hasta los huesos y con su bolsa de la comida en la cabeza. Al llegar aprovecha para sacarse un refresco de arandanos. Dice que es su favorito. Es al único que se le ve en la calle. 7. Roy al tomar su refresco favorito de arandanos dice en voz alta que es de la marca %Zero. Este se ríe y piensa que la marca no tiene buen marketing con ese nombre, ya que según él la empresa no lo aprovecha bien para venderse como un refresco 0% azúcar. Se ve claramente en la lata que en el etiquetado dice de manera literal que su principal ingrediente es el azúcar, tambien se puede leer la siguente frase contiene muchas otras cosas raras que no aportan nada bueno para la salud y al final se aprecia en pequeño el dato siguente: Esta realizado con aroma de arandanos en algo menos del 0,5% del producto final. 8. Al acabar el capítulo cuando todo parece que ha vuelto a la normalidad aparece una escena post crédito. La escena se sitúa en el aparcamiento de la empresa y vemos a Denholm cojer su bicicleta para marcharse a casa, se dispone a salir del aparcamiento montado en su bici, cuando llega por una puerta cercana, Elisa. Ella se dirige a su jefe presentándose una vez más como Elisa la telefonista numero 2 del departamento de atención al cliente. Denholm harto de oír esa coletilla la despide al instante. Ella se para en seco, le mira fijamente a los ojos y antes de que Denholm diga nada le da un apasionado beso y se enrollan ahí mismo. El capítulo concluye enfocando la camara hacia la puerta por la que Elisa había entrado al aparcamiento y en ella podemos ver salir a Paul, pero se da la media vuelta al ver a Elisa y Denholm enrollarse. Cierra la puerta con cara de asombro. La puerta se abre una segunda y última vez. Volvemos a ver a Paul mirando hacía Denholm y Elisa con una cara aun más de asombro. De fondo se siguen oyen gemidos de placer y él gira la cabeza indicando con ello que ha visto algo que le pareció más raro aun que lo que vio al principio. Paul acaba cerrando la puerta y la cámara enfoca al cartel de salida de emergencia. El capítulo concluye y nunca más se supo de Elisa. 9. El capítulo es dedicado a Elisa. Al personaje y a la actriz. 10. Roy no se cruza con nadie de industrias Reinhold durante todo el capítulo. Únicamente se cruza con dos peatones que corren por la calle como el para cubrirse de la lluvia y con la señora mayor y la niña que le golpean en el portal. 11. Todos creen que Roy no ha ido a trabajar.

What's your opinion on using S/N 100dB? Do you keep it on by default? I just read an interesting article by Paul Virostek and started wondering whether it is really such a good feature when it comes to recording quite ambiences or nature sounds. What's your opinion about it? And another question about the remote control. Have you ever tested how far can you move from the equipment to be still able to use your remote?

I have had my LS11 for many years now. Both LS11 and Sony M10 sound great. The greater separation on the LS11 has it sounding more open, of course. For those who say LS11 has higher noise floor, I think that you are being fooled. The only way to be sure is to mix to mono on both recordings and then listen. I'll take the separation of my LS11 over the relatively "boxy" impression I got when going back to the Sony part of this clip.

I know this is a 7-year-old video but thanks for sharing. I was looking at a used Olympus for back up audio for my KZread videos. Something I could just set up to record audio and forget about. 👍

Gain was set to manual - about 6.5
It would be great if there was a blimp that could hold the D100 or the M10, and if there was a Sony app (for iOS and android Bluetooth) to control the gain for each channel.

KZread compresses all audio to less than mp3 192kbs quality - or did you actually think youtube was streaming something higher? Doesn't matter what quality the source is, it gets compressed. Besides, the photo was just staged for the video to show the product.
