Greetings fellow Empyreans I am Ashterothi and I am here to put the universe of EVE Online to you!
I post video content, stream panels and overall advocate for the best EVE we can have. I am unironically enthusiastic about EVE, and bring my thoughts to EVE Online, gaming, and life in general.

Why I'm seeing this 8yr old short on my feed?
What skinr isn't = a way for you to make and sell skins. What skinr is = a way for you to spend massive amounts of isk for skins for your own ships. Thats really all skinr actually is. Yes, you can theoretically sell skins, but they're so expensive to make that its really not worth the risk of making a skin that might never sell. its far too expensive.
Really starts at minute 38
This video is all over the place. Just when you are following a sentence....he throws in "Whatever"...WTF do you mean "whatever"???? Finish the sentence. No one is reading your mind when you say "Whatever"
yeah I need to redo this one.
Geez, thank you for explaining all of this. I've been playing for 3 weeks and I've wondered about basically all of this stuff but didn't know what any of it was. I have a much better grasp of what's happening now thanks to you. Cheers man.
1) you hate the real world 2) you enjoy pain 3) you have an enormous amount of free time.
growing wealth: do more abyssals managing wealth: lose less abyssals there really isn't much that can compare with abyssals until you get to the point you are flying multibillion isk capital ships, then you can go do something like sotiyos. abyssal moneymaking is mostly unbeatable until deep late game though, you can easily make over 1 billion/hour by boxing 3 frigates in t6 abyssals, you pay for all 3 of those accounts' omegas in one single day of abyssals and everything else is pure profit. even fresh day 1 characters will make more money doing t0 abyssals than trying to do something like sanshas nullsec relic sites, missions, gas huffing, etc.
I stoped playing eve years ago. I came to realize that I did not have enough time for 2 full jobs.
Kamí Día should be makin' babies and not pushin' 'suffering and violence' if she's the last surviving member of her clan. That's actually way sad. Fun fact: her character name means day-spirit. I have a gut feeling that this is going to be a short lived chapter in EVE history. New Eden needs stability not more factionalism... Happy your cat's doing better Ash
i like the news / lore but one thing that is really missing is info of whats happninig around eve like frost did befor she stopped
I understand. Although what is happening is chaotic and null focused. I will be back soon enough to discuss it all but I can also suggest several other null focused content creators like Pando.
❤❤
Thanks
Don’t stop!
Nice, concise and visually engaging format. Felice feline.
Interesting format change of pace
Excellent to hear your voice again!
\o/ I will work on putting out some more stuff soon!
Thanks!
When plotting a route, any way to not have the highlighted stargates that weak yellowish color? There should be a way to make them a bright color to warp to much easier. I have been through overview and see no way to change this.
That faint yellow color literally got my freighter killed once :( I have complained about it for years.
@@Ashterothi Yeah it's the worst...I found a semi decent fix, I changed the theme to a blue theme like Caldari, it gives me a blue highlight stripe on the destination, much better than brown or dark gray in space.
What happened to the High Drag Podcast?
The other guys stopped producing it. Random still plays though.
@@Ashterothi thats to bad, High Drag was the one gameing podcast I enjoyed listening to. I am glad to see that both you and Random are still around, I'll have to get caught up on your back catalog. Thanks for the content.
Thank you for your speech. During my time in Eve Online I sadly experienced that leaders let unfold people in the speed they need. Mostly I felt pressured by people from whom I got the feeling they just want to enforce their power instead allowing people to develop. I always felt like I was not allowed to make mistakes and to ask questions to learn about mechanics and why stuff is going like it is which led to that I tried the game a few times but always turned away from it again, even I like the complexity of it.
lolts has changed since i left EVE-Online. At the time i left i was Industrialist and did all construction up to Carriers.
from Beltmining to Planetmining to Planetprocessing to Moonmining to processing on that outpost to building on Stations to bulding on outposts. Hi-sec to low-sec and some month eaven in 0-sec. from 2004 till arround 2014-15
Love Palworld. Exceptional game. They owe major royalties though
I've come back after a long time off. Its hard to get other miners to trust me. Most won't even start a conversation with me. I offer bonuses to cycle time and range, from my mining foreman. Nobody sticks around more than one day. So much for being a mining fleet in high sec.
@Ashterothi hope that you are doing ok brother. No streams recently. The river is a trickle
What's an officer mod, and does it take up a lot of cargo space in the ship or something?
No they are upgraded equipment for your ship. Often Officer Mods can cost several billion isk and a single one could pay for your subscription for a month or more.
love this content.
Almost died on my tengu leaving fountain not knowing about the interdiction changes, lucky someone else was being hunted while I was cloaky
The most common warning is probably diminishing returns.
Regarding the addition of new stuff, very easy solution to that, you store what not to show, not what to show. Then new stuff is automatically added.
You can't modify orders like that anymore :( Charges are not nice.
Regarding station containers, you can also buy them from some overcharging individual who found there where none in the station and decided to put a 100%+ markup on them, cough cough, not me, I would never do that ;)
And it's all changed again.
I do need to make an update...
"Spoiled" equals bad change.
Ho le DAMN that was so close to not working, I imagine the other logi pilot must have been stressing so much !! One miss timed rep would have lost Nigel
LOL i just noticed that KZread added 'cow' to the autogenerated url of this video, well played KZread
Still very interesting and helpful in 2024. Thank you!
Style Guide: an Eve poem and a riddle by Ash 1:08:10
make it a short!
Congrats Ash on your 700th video
41:09 *_Yay! NOW WE'RE COOKIN' WITH GAS!!_* 😛🤗🥰😍🤩 😘Eve Devs! 41:21 censor for when video is trimmed and general posted 41:37 can proudly say that was my first exposure to EVE era. Pre 2010 era. Flippin ah-mazin' years.
Eve is a game you play in the background of you're main game when you 1st start out. I just joined Eve as a new player on my 2n week and I can 100% agree that you are better off takeing slow and just work on skill on 2-3 toon/Acc, log in every 2-3 days do something here and there, but it a pick up and put down game when starting. I play it on the side when im Streaming my Main game or doing some work at home. I love it I will say that I wish i started sooner and just worked on skills, but even if I did not, this give me time to learn how to do all the stuff in the game..well try lol AND give me time to learn how to make ISK and farm so when i have the skills learned i can build/Buy the new toks to loos 5min later ^^ hehe
25:00 if you want to make that pattern on the correct center, you can click on the circle on the right side of the camera check box, if can make the pattern to place on current center on top, bottom or front side of the ship
Hah, just came back from 8 years of out of eve life and all my crap is now in trig space. Time to figure that out. Will go and die a bunch to figure this out. Thank you CCP for giving me some challenge on my return. RIP my BPOs if I screw it up.
